This year, after four years, I decided to return and spend time at the Majestic Resort - Majestic Colonial - Colonial Club. As a returning customer and Expedia Platinum Member, I expected more from the resort. I didn't receive anything extra from the resort; I even had to pay for a romantic dinner. This is clearly a comparison to my previous stays at Majestic Resorts, when I received upgraded rooms and services. Mrs. Yeraimys, the Colonial Club Desk Service Leader, refused to put me in touch with a customer service manager when I had a problem and asked for it. She spoke to someone on the phone in Spanish, supposedly about me, while standing in front of me. This, in my opinion, came across as unprofessional, arrogant, and dismissive. It would be unfair to mention only the top-tier customer service. Butler Agapito was directly in charge of our service; his customer service approach and professionalism were top-notch. As someone with managerial experience, I can recommend him for more responsible customer relations roles. Thank you, Agapito.
Food: Delicious, fresh, and varied.
Service in restaurants and buffets: friendly, helpful, and often despite their limited English, they tried to help and performed their duties to the best of their ability.
Rooms. Very good housekeeping service.The Colonial Club beach, with the same number of rooms as the family section, was three times smaller, meaning it was very crowded.
Bars were well-stocked.
