The staff was extremely friendly and provided excellent customer service, always willing to assist and keeping us informed about resort activities. Our room was very clean; although a bit dated, cleanliness was never an issue.
The food overall was very good, especially the buffet, which offered a great variety of options with excellent presentation. The buffet was consistently the best dining choice. We also had an excellent hibachi dinner experience at Ma Suri—great food, entertaining chefs, and very good service.
Unfortunately, the à la carte restaurants did not meet the same standard. Service was inconsistent, and food quality was disappointing. Our Christmas Eve dinner at the French restaurant, Le Gourmet, was below expectations. While the presentation was nice, the food itself was not good, and one of the five entrées we ordered ran out without notice, showing a lack of staff communication. At the steakhouse, Rodeo Grill, service was slow, taking over an hour, and the steaks were overcooked and cold.
Overall, we had an amazing experience. Customer service, cleanliness, activities, and airport transportation were excellent. The only downside was that tipping felt somewhat expected, and service noticeably improved afterward, which came across as a bit pushy. Our concierge, mayordomo Wilimier, was incredible and truly enhanced our stay.
