This was our 4 time staying at the Sunset Plaza, and our last. It was terrible from the moment we arrived until we left. It was at one time a beautiful place to stay. The food was like prison food, I got food poisoning one night and spent 4 days ill. The food was institutional and I couldn’t bare to go down for a meal, so we ended up eating off site a lot, even though we paid huge money for staying 6 days. Everyone we talked to didn’t like the food and most went off site to eat. The restaurant staff was good, but the desk staff and butlers were very dismissive, one day after a couple of hours at the beach I went back up to our room and the door was wide open with no one inside. I went down to the butlers and they said oh no, we will check the cameras and find out who had been in there, I said that one was one thing the other was I was afraid to go in, thought someone might be in there, so a butler came up and check, no one was in there there. I asked twice if they had found out who had been in the room and they kept telling me they hadn’t gone thru the camera video yet, I’m thinking to myself there probably is no video….WORST HOTEL EVER NOW!!!!! Avoid this place!!!!!
