We booked an ocean view room. We could see a bit of the ocean but our room was on the back side of the hotel next to another building. When their air conditioner came on for the day we could not even open the doors, much less sit on the deck because the of the loud noise. This lasted all day. Rooms are spacious and clean.
The pool staff and room staff were awesome. Very attentive and friendly.
The front desk were ok. I had previously emailed and told the hotel we were arriving on our actual anniversary and were celebrating with our children and grandchildren there. I received a lovely note to say congrats etc. My husband expected at the very least a card or fruit or something in our room. We were disappointed. When he asked he about that he was greeted with a shrug. Also our children got upgraded to a full ocean view, so we knew what we were missing.
Restaurants are fine, great staff. The kids loved Mikados.
We did enjoy the resort and had a wonderful time. It is so close to the airport and marina so no long taxi rides.
The pools were nice, warm, but there are not enough shower stations coming off the beach so be prepared for sand in the pools.
Overall a great vacation. We met a lot of people whom have been there many times and the staff remembered them and greeted them warmly. Nice to see.
