The property was beautiful, and as someone who prefers mountains over the ocean, it was the perfect setting for me. The shuttle to the beach club was easy, efficient, and well organized. The beach club itself offered nice seating and a decent menu. That said, if you don’t eat seafood or red meat, dining options there can be a bit challenging.
As expected in many parts of the city, you should be prepared to be approached by locals selling items throughout your time at the beach, which can be tiring over the course of the day.
Overall, the resort was clean and well maintained. One disappointment was the glass barrier at the adults-only pool, it was dirty for the entirety of our stay and obstructed what should have been a stunning rooftop ocean view, which was frustrating. We stayed in Tower 6, and while the room itself was comfortable, the walls were paperthin. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms, and I truly mean everything. On a positive note, the mattress and pillows were fantastic and made for very comfortable sleep.
The buffet food was about a 7/10. There was a good variety overall and it would generally satisfy most guests. However, once again, those who don’t eat seafood or red meat may struggle. There were a couple of nights where my only protein options were pork or fish, which left me going without. That said, the buffet in Tower 6 was by far the best on the resort,the meats there were consistently juicy and very tender.
