Going during their off season, isn’t the best time to go. Service has gone downhill. Cons no free wifi, you have to pay for it and it’s spotty. No transportation provided to or from the resort. Do NOT take a taxi, it’s very expensive, they’re rude and say their credit card machine isn’t working so that you can pay in cash. Go with STP Caribe for transportation they’re amazing.

This is my second time at this resort. The first time was in the summer and was their busy season. Do not go during off season, the pool is freezing and doesn’t seem as clean as the summer time. The service is not great, the food for some reason was not as great either. The properties are pretty far from each other, finding someone to drive you anywhere in a golf cart is long and difficult without feeling like a nuisance. One night I ordered room service at 930pm, they said 40 min. At. 1030pm I called asking what happened they asked for my order again to ask the kitchen. Kids and I fell asleep and were awaken at 12:15am with knocks on the door with our order. The resort was NOT packed, yet it was difficult to receive reservations anywhere and the buffet restaurants weren’t great. I was super disappointed this time around. Entertainment for kids at night is not great either and again, their beach is awful so don’t count on your average clear water white sand cancun beach.

We love Ventus Ha,,the food is excellent, the roof adult only pool is amazing and service is top notch. We have been to the resort 3 times and planning to go back. The only negatives i have this year is the lobby bar,,the service was very slow every time we went..we were the only table and it took us more thann15 minutes to get served,,we actually needed to go to the bar and asked to get served..

Property design and ambience, Facilities are very well thought and designed with love and care, Pools are remarkable restaurants designed to provide 5star feeling landscaping is remarkable with special neem and Motia flowers roof top bar ans pool is very beutiful and unique feature. only drawback: Staff is not trained well to meet standards of the Property. best manager who has leadership and ownership level was Concierge manage Heyshel (5/5) french restarant and Meditrainian resturents have potential to meet great standrads but except managers Pedro (French) (5/5) and Chef oscar and Karen (Meditranian Alcaza) 5/5 no one has shown that level to meet Property standrds. Only one server who shown and beat standrd is RENE ( Alcazar) 6/5 best. rest servers are not able to even 3/5. Best looks are Aakat followed byfrench VEGETARIANS: Meet Hey shel or Pedro or OSCAR chef and you will get best, akat service is Poorest and selection id bad But Manager FILIPE is only GOOD thing in it.

We (2 adults, 3kids(2,5,&7)) stayed at this resort for 2 weeks in February. We ended up in a room below the roof top pool. Unfortunately we ended up very sick with a respiratory illness for 11 of our 15 day stay. High fevers, coughing snot. We are incredibly healthy people so to be so violently ill for so long was very confusing. Fast forward to day 9 of my illness. I got up and started cleaning our room. There was water on our floor. I had noticed water damage stains on our wall the day we checked in but due to getting sick so fast into our stay it was pushed into the back of my mind. We called the staff to let them know that there was water leaking from the wall in our room. They came and inspected it and informed us to move right away. I packed all 5 of us up and, with three sick kiddos into a new room. The new room’s patio door would not latch. we ended up with extremely wet floors. The bedding was damp and my kids were coughing like crazy. They said we could move but it was already 10:30pm. Kids were asleep and I would have to pack again. Next morning they moved us to a very large beautiful suite for our last night at the resort. This was our first day we were all well enough to get out of the room. Not their fault we got sick. However, I am very certain that we would not have been as sick if we weren’t in the room with an active water leaks and thus mold. They paid for us to do our laundry onsite. I would not stay again. Platinum is a joke.

We were here for only a short stay from Thurs to Mon and it was excellent! We stayed mainly on the Ventus Ha’ resort where our room was & it was definitely the newest one compared to the Ventus & the Marina across the street. It was great that we had access to all 3 resorts so could still enjoy beach front if we wanted. The beach wasn’t great though with the sand bags in the water so we stuck to the pools. We had amazing service the entire time! The buffet food was okay, but nothing special. We ate at Aakat for lunch as it was a la carte and it was amazing. We also ate there for supper and also amazing. Kobo was also exceptional but difficult to make a reservation so do that early on in your trip!

A wonderful resort!! Very wheelchair friendly with fully accessible facilities, including: all restaurants, rooms and pools. Many accessible washrooms are conveniently located throughout the resort. It was obvious that a lot of care went into the overall design of this resort. Golf cart transportation is provided to help those who need any level of assistance making this vacation hassle free. The personable staff has been trained to provide extraordinary customer service to everyone. This is the kind of resort that makes visitors want to return again and again. With a wealth of dining options and restaurants containing high quality, deliciously prepared meals; it’s hard for guests to be disappointed. Day and night, there are a number of daily activities geared for the young ones and for those young at heart. Many cabanas and quiet places are nestled around the resort for designated for adults only to relax and unwind and enjoy the beautifully lush, tropical surroundings set apart from the natural activity hubs of the three enormous pool areas and the large, private beach. In sum, Ventus Ha’ is a resort that exceeded my expectations and that lives up to the numerous five star reviews.

All of the restaurants are delicious and the coffee shop has the best iced chai latte!!! El CID resorts are definitely our go to for vacations!!

Access to all the properties. This one is the quietest but easy access to the rest. So best of both. Foodcgreat. Beach not as good as many resorts in the area. Clean , just not typical .

Loved it here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is amazing, specifically the Ventus ha is absolutely the best vibe. Only negative thing is there is no real beach.

I loved the fact there are many different dining options. Although making reservations for dinner is very hard for large families. They incorporate nature in all the areas. They have viewing areas for wildlife like alligators and birds and turtles. Their nighttime shows are excellent!
