Staff was friendly and helpful, general areas were clean for the most part, room was nice. Pool hours were frustrating — 9am-9pm. I have a 7 year old who couldn’t wait to use the pool when we got back around 9pm from the hockey game. He was majorly disappointed. Why 9pm? There is no lifeguard ever so why not 24/7? 9am opening is even more ridiculous. He’s up at 6am so trying to figure out what to do with him. Once it did open, there were no pool towels, pool was dirty and dirty towels (and someone’s socks) everywhere. Bizarre. Breakfast was terrible. It was a typical Buffett style but everything way overcooked, particularly the eggs. Plates were styrofoam with the cheapest plastic utensils you can buy, where the overcooked egg chunks go flying everywhere when u try to cut into them. A bunch of little things just made the breakfast experience annoying. Like salt and pepper shakers were not at individual tables, but a community spot where a line formed to use. Why? Put individual ones at the tables. Milk for kids cereal was a 2 gallon jug in a fridge instead of individual half-pints you could take to ur table. Overall, less than pleasant experience.
