«Accurate description of studio apartment. Pool on site and fun. Everything was working. Kept it clean without bugs. Kitchen stocked just enough to handle meals for 4. They had detergent , oil, and salt and pepper there for use. It was a king sized bed, couch, and they had a blow up mattress for use. On first search, I couldn't find bedding other than a thick comforter for the blow up bed, and I also couldn't find how to blow it up, so we just slept on the big bed and the couch. «This is a terrific ground level studio unit next to the parking. It is well maintained. The host was very responsive when we had a small issue with the shower head and he replaced it with an amazing unit you will enjoy. Hanalei Bay Resort (HBR) has been a special vacation place for us for nearly 40 years. While the Bali Hai restaurant is not up and running again, they do serve pizza which was pretty good. For some reason the jets in the HBR hot tub were not operating.»

«Gorgeous views — more impressive than the photos. Excellent location. Can walk 5-8 minutes down the hill to a very quiet and dreamy beach. The room itself, as others have noted, could use some upgrades. Lots of scuffs along walls and baseboards, lumpy pillows, wobbly end tables, mid-range amenities (towels, soaps, etc.). «Ryan and Brooke were wonderful hosts. The condo has an amazing location, it is clean and there’s everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. There’s a hot plate microwave crockpot, and toaster oven and plenty of dishes and silverware. The fridge and freezer are big. There is a great washing machine and dryer in the unit. Plenty of towels on the beautiful lanai. There’s a band with boogie boards, beach, chairs, beach toys, and an umbrella we can’t wait to come back again.»

«Great stay - beautiful house and area. Hosts were very friendly and communicative. One downside is the AC was not super great so it got a little warm in the day, but wasn't a huge problem since we weren't really around during the day. Very clean and great water pressure. VRBO sent us the wrong check in info, but Ryan was quick to resolve and get us in the doors.»

«Lovely resort property. Parking close to our accommodation. Recent renovations were well executed. The kitchen was not cleaned upon our arrival. As a result there were ants on the counter attracted by the spilled sugar and on the floor. The cleaning staff really failed what would otherwise have been a great stay.»

The kitchenette is useful for breakfast and snacks, but if you want to cook full meals with a range or oven you'll need a different spot.
