«The house was fantastic. Close to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort and a cute one street town. Peter and Lara had both wood burning stoves going for us when we arrived. The house is wonderful with a fun separate hang out place for the kids. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Hot tub with wonderful views. All the firewood you could ever need. We will be back for sure!»

«We explored VRBO after being unable to find a hotel room in town and were not disappointed! This property was immaculate and well designed with bedrooms and full baths at opposite ends of the house and a large common area off the kitchen with decks. The location was perfect, out of town, but not too far, and on a beautiful quiet country road with a wonderful natural hedgerow creating privacy. Our host was prompt in receiving and replying to our reservations inquiry and was inobtrusive yet ...

«This is a beautiful property. We had a lovely view of the sunrise on the mountain before we drove to Hunter to ski (about 11 miles / 16 minutes away) and then enjoyed the living room fireplace each evening. The property is close to both Hunter and Phoenicia for breakfast, dinner, or shopping but quiet and secluded enough to feel private and restful. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy breakfast by the creek and dinner on the large deck.»

«Wonderful property that allowed me to disconnect and relax. The home was comfortable and clean. Although this may seem weird, the towels were hotel quality and the sheets were clean and fresh. I appreciate this because I’ve stayed at some rentals that the sheets and towels were very questionable. I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again. Great communication by the property manager. They were awesome!»

«Overall the stay was nice. The inside of the home was very neat and tidy. My complaints would be that the outdoor BBQ hut grill was not clean. Also, we were unable to use the hot tub because the chemicals were very overpowering. It was kind of a bummer not being able to use those amenities but otherwise we had a very nice stay.»
