Cozy Spa Sanctuary-Steps to Restaurants and Shopping

Steps from shopping & dining on Division, we are the perfect home base for all your PDX adventures. We offer a cozy bedroom with comfy queen bed, washer/dryer, full gourmet kitchen, patio and Euro-style bathroom with rainfall shower head and clawfoot soaking tub. In the common area, you'll find an easily convertible queen sofa bed and a desk space with an iPad. TVs in both the bedroom and common area are equipped with Roku for streaming Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax and more. We can't wait to host you! Our garden apartment was lovingly crafted and furnished with guests in mind. We enjoy providing a welcoming space for travelers from all over the world and look forward to hosting you, too! You'll access the apartment via your private entrance equipped with a keyless lock for easy ins and outs. You'll notice your very own patio space just outside the entrance and once inside, you'll find the gourmet kitchen with all new appliances including a full-size fridge/freezer, gas range & oven, microwave, toaster, hot water kettle, coffee maker, Keurig and a dishwasher to make cleanup easy. We've also stocked the kitchen with all the cooking tools you'll need to make your own meals if you can resist the fantastic dining nearby on Division. The ductless HVAC unit and radiant heated floors ensure you'll be comfortable year round. Relax on the sofa that converts to a comfy queen bed and stream all your favorite apps on the Roku equipped TV. Use the iPad provided on the work space to check out things to do in town or play music from the speaker dock. Prefer to watch TV in bed? There's another TV with a Roku in the bedroom. The queen sized bed is dressed with fresh linens for every guest and the blackout shades allow you to sleep in comfortably. The wet room style bathroom has a delightful rainfall shower head and clawfoot soaking tub - great for relaxing after a long day of exploring or hiking. We provide plush bath linens, all the essential bath toiletries and more - everything you need for your perfect Portland stay! No need to worry about keys - we've equipped the private entry with an electronic lock to make coming and going a breeze. You'll have access to the entire ground floor apartment which has a full kitchen, living room and work space, queen bedroom and spacious bathroom. The patio just outside your door is all yours, too! Guests can enjoy marijuana or tobacco in our private outside patio. We live upstairs but we're pretty busy working and when we can -- enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest, so we're working with a local management team to make sure you have a remarkable stay! Contact us via Airbnb for on-the-ground recommendations or help with anything you might need during your stay! Our neighborhood is incredibly walkable and right in the heart of SE PDX. Located just north of Division on a quiet, residential street, our house is perfectly positioned for your Portland explorations. With so many options for dining, coffee and shopping nearby, you may never want to leave the neighborhood; but if you do, getting around is super easy via the nearby transit stops. We're located on a corner lot and parking is unrestricted and easy to find on the surrounding streets, if not directly in front of your Airbnb. The #4 bus is just two block away and you'll be at Powell's downtown in about 25 minutes - or 10 minutes by Uber / Lyft / taxi. Check out Tri-Met's website or get their free, easy to use smartphone app to make trip planning and ticket purchasing a breeze. Biketown, our city-wide bike-sharing program, has a rental kiosk just blocks away and is a great option for exploring by bike or even one of the e-scooters you can rent by the minute. We'd love to host your kiddo too, just let us know if you'll need the gear we offer (pack-n-play, etc) during the reservation process prior to your arrival. Thanks! We strive to maintain a safe and peaceful space free of allergens for frequent guests with fragile health and auto-immune complications. Requests to accommodate pets are politely declined and we ask for guests who travel with service animals to please be understanding and seek more animal friendly accommodations.

Short visit to Hawthorne District

Very cool interior, nicely done craftsmanship and construction. Great kitchen with appliances. Bathroom with large tub was a nice touch. Overall, a verynice place to stay and an added bonus of being so close to all wonderful places on Division street.

Comfy peaceful space

My partner and I absolutely loved this place, it’s so cute and the decor is very nice. The kitchen is fully stocked and I was able to make some lovely meals. Great location for walking along Division or Hawthorn to check out the shops and great food, and very close to grocery shopping and public transit to downtown. The bed was comfortable as was the pull out couch and we were able to hook up our switch and play some games. Very clean and the property manager checked in often to make sure we had everything and was very responsive. I can’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back!

Southeast Getaway

A great location for a getaway in a charming Portland neighborhood. We enjoyed walks Between Division and Hawthorne, bar hopping, restaurants and shopping. If you’re looking for a safe, picturesque neighborhood, this is it. The apartment has modern amenities, and everything you need for a vacation or romantic weekend. It’s clean, relatively quiet (it is a first floor apartment so you can hear some noise from above, but it’s not obtrusive). But the real joy of This place is its proximity to nightlife and authentic PDX culture.

Cozy Sanctuary absolutely!

Myself, my friend who stayed with me, and my local who popped in to say hi all agreed - I fully picked the BEST place. A short walk to stores & restaurants on SE Division & a slightly longer walk to Hawthorne for more shops and a grocery store - made this a perfect jumping off point to stroll, or drive out to other sights. The Bathroom - it has BOTH a soaking tub, and a separate shower, plus lots of bathroom toiletries. The radiant heated floors were so nice after a day out in the rainy weather. Our hosts sent messages to make sure we had all we needed, and were quick to respond to questions, even over a holiday. I would absolutely stay here again when in PDX, and my local friends now want to use it for a Staycation.

Even better than advertised.

My wife and I had such a great time visiting Portland for the first time and I couldn’t imagine finding another accommodation as perfect as this place. For starters, the neighbourhood is great. So many hip restaurants and cocktail lounges all within close walking distance. Also, the desert places… wow. You know they’re good when they’re lined up out the door. The VRBO was truly perfect. You can tell a lot of time went into building it and decorating the spot. It was very clean and was full of so many amenities it really made us feel like we were at home. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks for having us!!!

An entertaining place to stay.

This place had everything. A well equipped kitchen, lotions and beauty supplies, but most of all a unique collection of interesting stuff. Every time you turned around you noticed another item that the owners must have had fun collecting. Curious, quirky things to enjoy. The location is great so close to excellent restaurants and interesting shops.

We can’t say enough great things about this rental! My partner and I stayed here about 10 days while we were waiting for our new home in Portland to be ready and it was such a relaxing place to land. It felt more spacious than we expected for a basement (it’s really a daylight basement - no stairs to get there and not underground. It’s also super well-insulated so we never even heard the people living above. The outdoor private patio is a great bonus. Finally, the location is PERFECT. Just steps from all the great shops and restaurants on Division, but tucked into a quiet neighborhood oasis. Definitely stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Spa Sanctuary. It was incredibly clean and fully stocked with any and everything you could possibly need. The host was very prompt in returning my msgs and we appreciated all the special touches this place had to offer. Excellent location too. Very quiet neighborhood but super close to bars and restaurants. We highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Portland!

Exceeded expectations

When they say soaking sanctuary, they’re not kidding! The bathroom was stocked with a myriad of lovely products, from bubble baths to bath salts, and body and hair products. The rain shower was delightful. The rest of the space was just as well equipped, clean, and cozy during a record snow storm. The heated floors(!) and toilet seat were especially favorites during the cold temps. Check in/going in and out was breezy with the coded lock. Instructions to use the space were above and beyond, making it easy to feel at home. The bed, couch, and pillows were very comfortable. And Mike was a responsive and accommodating host. 10/10 would stay again!
