Good
House is cute, the front door and back door could use some work on the locking and opening/closing. But other than that it was a cute little house to stay for a few nights.

Renter beware
We have been renting from VRBO for 5 years and the homes were exceptional till this one,this location doesn’t live up to the standard of VRBO that we’ve become accustomed to in my opinion,to start,Vacasa assured me that the beds in the guest rooms that were horrendous,also in reviews,was taken care of,the ladies in those rooms had to put the beds on the floor to sleep because the mattresses are so bad you can feel the slats through them,there was a constant non stop chirping that kept the ladies up all night,there was no security gate to keep the dog or child from falling down them,the inside of the house was dirty,the front of the stainless steal refrigerator was nasty,the laundry room had a mildew smell that makes it’s way into the living area,there were broken slats on the floor that stuck up stubbing our toes,the guest bathroom had pink mold on the shower curtain,none of the outside plugs worked,we had to remove the fire alarm because it wouldn’t stop sounding off,as I’ve said,this is not what we became accustom to with VRBO. It puts y’all in a bad light,you may want to remove this listing till the issues in this house are resolved. Very dissatisfied customer with this location.

Nice place, just some things to know
Like i said the place is nice! But theres just some maintenance issues with the house that need to be addressed at this time. 1- the door handle is wore out and door is not plum so hard to open. 2-the air filter for the central is a solid layer of lint you can see, just needs to be changed 3-I know with it being a pet friendly house. It’s hard to get the dog hair out of everything, but the bedsheets had black hairs all in it. 4- the guest bathroom, toilet flapper does not seal so it’s constantly draining and refilling. 5-there are parts of the flooring that look like they might have gotten wet and buckled up and if you’re not careful, it will cut your foot if you catch it wrong, if not fix, maybe just put a carpet over. 6-and last, but not least the only actual complaint I have is the master bed is so uncomfortable everyones body was aching by morning time Other than that the porch is really nice and the house is really nice in general just needs to be up kept a little bit better before it gets run down

We’ll be back again
This is our second stay here and we plan to return next year. We learned to bring a 4” mattress topper for the lower bunk (full size) to make it comfortable for adults. Otherwise, it’s well-appointed and a pleasure to stay there!

End of summer bash
My family and I had a wonderful time at this house, its location and beach accessibility was on point. It’s far enough out of the busier Crystal Beach area to enjoy without bumping elbows with everyone else. I will however point out a few things about the listing that should be stated before booking: 1. The refrigerator and freezer almost took 24 full hours to cool down to temperature 2. The listing states a gas grill and all there was is a tiny charcoal backyard grill so we came unprepared without charcoal 3. Luckily I had a 4x4 truck, feel like the listing should state that’s it’s very sandy to pull in and out of the driveway, I got stuck several times and would of really been out of luck if I had a non 4x4 vehicle 4. Lastly there was a gentleman that frequently drove by in a golf cart daily checking the house area, it’s occupants and direct beach vicinity area to the house which made us a little uncomfortable, it could just be a local but in this day, age and time it was unnerving to see how many times he came close to my family checking us out like a hawk In all it was a great trip with a few things that could be stated better in the listing, it is a place Id recommend for a great family vacation and stay

My First Ever Bad Review on VRBO
I have stayed at VRBO properties all over the world and this is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to give a review of this magnitude. The photos posted are accurate. The place looks just like the photos inside and out. The problems we encountered are numerous. 1) Beds are cheap and in the case of one bedroom, dangerous. Twin bed room i beds are so shabby that the thin cheap mattresses flip. One of our women actually was flipped and thrown into the wall, hurtling her hip. The sleeper sofa was already broken and had to be known about because a big piece of wood was shoved in to hold it together. Even trying to sit on it as a couch was horrible. The cushions seem no in when you sit down. 2). Internet did not work and after numerous calls, someone came out and fixed it. The outside wiring had to be replaced and as it had already been taped, the management or owners had to know it was faulty. We were four days out of five with no service. 3).. Dishwasher broken with standing, smelly water in it when we got there. A repairman was sent. Again, management or owner should have addressed this before we got there. 4.). Mosquitoes and sand fleas. I know this is outside but be aware even with a fogger and insect repellents we were never able to sit outside. A horrible situation! Be aware if you want to be outside you will be covered with bites. 5.). There are no pads on any of the indoor chairs or barstools. We found it quite uncomfortable and would have to get pillows from the bedrooms to sit down to eat. There was no problem leaving by 10am checkout, we were ready to go. A very disappointing place and experience.

Nice view, poor beds
We had a wonderful stay in this beach house. It has a stunning view to the sea and the beach. The house has a good size for a family of six. There is some cosy furniture on the balcony. We really enjoyed sitting there and watching the sea. And we liked having breakfast or lunch on the balcony. But there are some things that really should be approved. The wifi and therefore the TV too didn't work. We reported it at the second day of our stay. One day later, the sent someone. He couldn't fix it. Then nothing more happened. The wifi and the TVs didnt work during our whole stay. We've been there for 10 days. We also didnt like the way, the house was equipped, espescially in the kitchen. There is almost only dishes in plastic. We even had to buy some wine glasses to have a little bit of style. In comparison of the high price of the house, this is not ok. And even more: The beds are very hard used. Some of them even are broken. The bed in the master bedroom ist too small. We really did not sleep very well during our stay.

Favorite beach house we've ever rented
This place was amazing! You can't beat the location, and it's quite new, with a bright, open, spacious beachy feel. Everything was very clean except for the charcoal grill, which needed some scrubbing. Queen bed was comfortable, as was living room furniture, and other beds were adequate. We did not use the sofa sleeper. Plenty of nice outdoor furniture has been added in the time since some reviewers mentioned this was lacking. Kitchen was generally well-supplied, although there was no bakeware other than 2 old cookie sheets, no food storage containers, and kitchen storage was a little disorganized. We really loved spending time on both the front and back balconies. The view of the sunset over the bay can be enjoyed from the smaller back balcony (without stairs), as this part of the peninsula is very narrow. Beach access is awesome, and the outdoor shower is a great added bonus. I don't think there was a hair dryer, but we brought our own. Basic toiletries were provided, as were laundry and dish detergents. For shorter people, it's difficult to impossible to reach many of the items in both the kitchen and bathroom cabinets without climbing on something. The front door seemed to have swollen and was a little difficult to open and close. Although a few very minor things mentioned here were less than ideal, we were extremely happy overall with this house and found it to be an excellent value. We would definitely stay again. I highly recommend it.
