«My husband, son's girlfriend and I stayed in The Nest when our son was in town playing baseball against Lamar University. This house was a great alternative to a hotel. It was cute, clean and well stocked. The owner had great communication and left some special touches in the home for us. The only negative is the size of the beds if you have more than 2 adults. I bought a $30 air mattress and took sheets from home. That worked fine for us. I recommend this house if you are going to be visiting ...

«My crew enjoyed the location and their overall stay at this location, which I am very thankful for. However, their communication could use a little work. I believe the host is in a different time zone, but we did not receive the lock code until almost an hour after arriving that evening and I had to reach out to customer service in order to get a hold of him.»

«The check in process was quick and easy. Jackie communicated often to ensure we had an everything we needed for our stay. Check out process was super easy and required less than most places I have stayed in. The neighborhood was super quiet. I stayed here with my sister and our 6 children. I would stay here again.»

«Nice cozy place with good amenities like hot tub, small firepit, creek access for good fishing and comfortable furnishings inside the house. Our only small let down, if you can even call it that, was that the location was not as secluded as we thought. It's pretty close to town and the other cabins on the property are pretty close by which makes it feel not as secluded as we hoped for. Overall, I would say 8.5 out of 10 rating though. Thanks.»

«This is a nice place for a relaxing fishing trip. Not too far from amenities (grocery store, restaurants) in Port Arthur, and there is a little grocery bait store a mile or two down the road (with live shrimp!). The pier is long and we caught a nice variety of fish. Good space under the house to stay out of the sun, cook and enjoy the breeze.»

«A hidden gem for the serious fisherman. This location is perfect for a small/large boat - fresh/salt water fishing.
