«The hotel feels very new, and our room was clean and comfortable. If you’re coming to Tonga for a Swim with Whales experience, this is a great place to stay. The wharf is only about a five-minute walk away, which was especially convenient for the early morning whale trips. The hotel also offers car rentals, with a choice between a hatchback and a larger vehicle, and they can help arrange taxis as well. This was really helpful for us since we don’t speak Tongan and weren’t familiar with getting ...

«This is a great property if you wish to explore the south side of the island, or if you have your own vehicle. Unfortunately it is NOT 2.5 miles from the airport or the cruise ship port. It is on the opposite side of the island, Depending on traffic, a 90 - 150 minute drive. $115 taxi drive. You can get a 3 day tourist bus pass for 1 franc (a bus ride is 4 francs) but the busses stop running at 4:00 local time. «We very much enjoyed our stay at Fare Arihau Vairoo. The room was lovely and comfortable. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and took care of us as though we were family. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. All the food was prepared by our host from local ingredients mostly grown in their own garden. All the food was exceptional and the service, some from our hosts little girls, was delightful.»

Anmeldelser av populære hoteller i Polynesia

Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach

8/10 Bra

"Ligger godt lokalt til strender og utflukter. Hadde et rom uten utsikt, det var greit siden vi var lite på rommet. God stor seng og gode puter. Vi hadde et rom som ikke var nyoppusset mot bakgården, men bra. Lite trafikkstøy."

Ilikai Hotel & Luxury Suites

8/10 Bra

"Stedet var fantastisk. Leiligheten var super bra og hadde et fantastisk panorama. Men ansatte i reseption var frekke, avstøtende og ikke turistorientert i det hele tatt. De behandlet deg som du ikke eksisterte. De lever av turister, de burde være mer respektfulle."

Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort

8/10 Bra

"Nice hotel. Family friendly, lots of kids. Some bad cleaning in the room (the downlights had brown spots on them in the bathroom, went away easily, didn’t try to remove it myself in case it was sh*t). Breakfast wasn’t included. I ordered included, but to my surprise the «package» was only for 2, not all 4 of the party, had to pay extra every day. The breakfast was good, but not varied - it was missing simple things like cheese and ham and other fillings, spreads and cold cuts. A lot of fresh fruit which was nice. Nice rooms and a lot of elevators. Polite staff. All in all a good hotel with a great location on Waikiki, with some improvement-areas. Lastly, there were no lifeguards on duty in the pool, and poolwater was never during our stay «fresh» and clear. Looked grumsy. "
