Fantastisk for familie
Hyggelig velkomst og flott vertskap. Du har hotellfølelsen selv om du bor i et stort hus ved stranden. Brukte Chef Martin i forbindelse med feiring og han leverer. Anbefaler bruk av han under oppholdet. Et av de beste stedene ved Podstrana, huset og rommene stod til forventningen. Vi har bare positive tilbakemeldinger. Uteområdet benyttete vi til alle måltidet og gressplen var flott å være på for store og små. Bassenget er akkurat passe for oss 13 som var der. 10 m til havet er supert. Husk badesko. I Kroatia/Split et mobildekning litt utfordrende. 4 og 5G er ikke det samme over alt i verden. Wifi som er på huset kan være bedre, det er vel det eneste vi kan kritisere.

Et kjempeflott hus med alt du trenger. Velutstyrt. Fin hage med koselig uteplass til alle oss (14stk.) Kan anbefales . Vi har bestilt samme sted neste år. Deilig basseng og kort vei til havet. Vertskapet meget behjelplig. Et fantastisk sted. Hilsen fra en meget fornøyd norsk familie. Takk for oss..

Lovely house in a beautiful setting away from the crowd
The house was just as it is described. It was clean. There was plenty of hot water and water pressure. The kitchen and bathrooms are small but you can tell that from the pictures so it was not a disappointment. The pool was lovely. There is no shallow end. Not a problem for us because we did not have any children with us. We had 3 rental cars and it was nice to have a private space to park them. I definitely recommend the house.

Excellent stay
Villa was just as described. Good location right onto sea front with public path running in front of villa. Direct access to the sea. Local restaurants available within 5-10 mins walk, some better quality ones a little further. Small mini market next door. Larger Tommy supermarket 15 mins walk away. Better supermarket available in Omis a 25 min bus ride away. Buses run right past to both Omis (worth visiting) and Split every 15 mins or so in high season. Couldnt really fault the villa. Met by owner on arrival and everything was explained to us by her son. Would recommend.

Stunning Villa, Stunning Location
Our 13 strong party included Grandchildren from 3 years old to Grandparents up to 77 yrs old. The Villa facilities were amazing, including a downstairs double bedroom for a slighlty less mobile couple. The beautiful Adriatic Sea was 10 paces from the rear of our Villa. A local shop for all basic goods was 2 minutes walk. Apart from a busy and occasionally noisy road at the front the location was idyllic. Ubers were plenty and cheap and the location was good fro trips to surrounding places of interest. Omis was stunning, Trogir magical, Split historic but more commercial. Our host Ivana made us very welcome and our entire stay was an unforgettable experience.

Spitzen Urlaub in der Villa Amor!
Wir waren 14 Personen. 10 Erwachsene. Und 4 Kinder. Die Villa verfügt über 7 Zimmer. 2 Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten (kann man nicht zusammen schieben). Dann 1 Dreibettzimmer (1 Einzelbett und 1 Doppelbett). Dann 3 Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett. Und ein weiteres Zimmer mit Doppelbett und einem Sessel, den man zum schlafen ausziehen kann. Aber, auf diesen Schlafsessel passt kein Erwachsener. Nur ein Kind. Pool. Garten. Haus. Spitze. Jeden 2. Tag kam Ivana (Vermieterin). Sie ist sehr nett. Sie spricht nur Kroatisch. Aber, es hat trotzdem gut geklappt mit der Sprachbarriere. Das Haus war sehr sauber und wir waren 2 Wochen da. Nach einer Woche hatten wir eine Zwischenreinigung. Betten frisch beziehen, Bäder putzen, Küche. Die Reinigungsdamen haben gute Arbeit gemacht. Küchenausstattung war spitze. Genug Teller, Tassen, Gläser, Besteck. Das Meer vor der Tür. Besser geht nicht. Es war ein Traum. Ums Eck ist ein kleiner Studenac. Bäcker auch nicht weit. Tommy Supermarkt auch nicht weit weg. Und Lidl gibt es auch. Müller Drogerie in Richtung Omis. Alles in allem. Es war ein spitzen Urlaub. Danke Ivana und Danke an Martin für die tolle Begrüßung. Es gab eine Schinken, Salami, Käse Platte zur Begrüßung. Oliven. Getränke. Oasis outside Split by the sea.
The property was everything and more than we expected. House was very large and having each bedroom as en-suite was a luxury. House was very clean. Wonderful vine shade really helped as we had a heat wave. I would definitely recommend a car. Public transport was not great. Would definitely return.

Large family group
Villa is exactly as described, large house and garden with plenty of space for a large group and perfectly placed for the small ( pebble) beach and ocean. Small shop close by was handy but little else within walking distance which was disappointing, Podstrana isn’t the prettiest of places but is well placed for visiting surrounding area ( traffic is bad getting into Split) Owner responded very quickly to the couple of messages we sent. Couple of cons, beds were found to be very hard by us all also not enough glasses and mugs for a large group.

Dear Richard, thank you very much for your nice feedback, it is a very nice area and very popular property that all our guests just love and even return for next holidays. So thank you for noticing that. The traffic to Split is slow only during July, but all in all, you don`t lose much time. We are surprised with comment on beds as all of our guests so far gave us just we only have compliments on the comfort of the mattress? Also, must point out that there are additional glasses and mugs in the kitchen, enough for 16 people, so that is OK. This is something that is checked before each group arrives. But thank you for saying, perhaps we should add some.... Wish you all the best and once again thank you very much for your stay in Villa Amor.

Beautiful home in Podstrana
This is a great home for large groups! It has individual bedrooms with there own bathrooms. We were 13 people and it was very functional for our group. A few days before our trip we inquired about a chef to cook for us and we were put in touch with a guy named Martin. He cooked for us our first night there and it was AMAZING! From that point forward he was our contact for everything. He did everything for us…gave us directions, brought us ice, packed picnic lunches for excursions, gave us coffee, wine and the list goes on and on. He made the trip more memorable and definitely helped us navigate everything better. If you stay in this house you must reach out to Martin, he is awesome. He owns a property just a few houses down.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in traumhafter Villa
Die Villa ist traumhaft! Sie bietet 14 Personen genügend Platz. Sie ist in jeder Beziehung sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Wohnräume sind großzügig, hell und hochwertig ausgestattet. Der Pool und die Lounge Ecke sind wunderschön. Der gepflegte Garten läd zum Entspannen ein. Das Meer liegt direkt hinter dem Garten. Die Terrasse mit der Sitzgelegenheit unter dem Wein ist sehr gemütlich. Wir sind sehr gastfreundlich mit Getränken und einem kleinen Buffet, von den Eigentümern empfangen und begrüßt worden. Wir können die Villa nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub.

Villa Amor - 12 Canadians review!!
Villa is stunning, there were 12 of us & each had a beautiful room & on suite!! The location is fantastic, sunsets were breathtaking!! Very clean, lovely people to deal with, our coffee machine wasn’t working well & we had a replacement within hours!! We would highly recommend this villa!!

Beautiful house few steps from the beach
We enjoyed our stay in Villa Amor, the house was even better than in the pictures. Beautiful beach just few steps from the garden. The owner was very helpful, f.ex. she delived a new coffee machine immediately when the current one was not functioning properly. The owner recommended a chef at the villa, Martin and we asked him to deliver us 3-course dinner twice during our stay. Martin was excellent cook with friendly service and we highly recommend him. Overall, excellent week in beautiful Villa Amor!

Lovely Holiday
We stayed in Villa Amor for a week in June, the villa was brilliant for a big group of 14 (7 couples in our late 20’s). The villa was well equipped and had everything we needed, it was easy to communicate with the owner and they were very helpful with a couple of minor issues we had for example, the shower in the downstairs bedroom wasn’t draining the water away but they came and fixed it as soon as we let them know. The surrounding area of Podstrana is quite quiet, but does have some local restaurants that are quite nice that are about 20 - 30 mins walk from the villa (and some a bit further than that), it’s easy to get taxis into Split which take about 20 minutes and for two big 8 seater taxis it cost us around 500 kuna one way, which split between us all wasn’t very much. There is also a small shop about 2 minutes walk from the villa to buy drinks and snacks. I would also recommend visiting the old town of Omis, it is only about 15-20 mins in a taxi and is very pretty. We also hired a large boat from Split (Toto travel) and had a day visiting different islands. Overall I would definitely recommend staying at this property if you are a large group, it has lovely views and enough space for everyone so you don’t feel on top of each other, we had a great time chilling around the pool, using the bbq and games rooms and being able to access the sea so quickly was a plus point. Es war alles wunderschön, wir haben uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt.
Die Villa liegt direkt am Strand, nur durch eine Gartenmauer begrenzt. Mit absperrbarem Tor, das bei einem Kleinkind sehr gut war. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut. Auch die Küche verfügt überalles was eine große Familie zum Kochen braucht. Die Wege nach Split und Omis sind kurz und auch mit dem Bus zu bewältigen. Der Garten ist sehr gut angelegt, teils mit Baumbestand für Schattenliebhaber oder ohne für Sonnenanbeter. Liegen sind reichhaltig vor handeln. Der Pool ist groß und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Fabulous property in a beautiful location.
Villa Amor is a wonderful villa and perfect for our family reunion. Every bedroom is decorated to a high standard & has its own bathroom which is great when so many people are staying. My only criticism is no mirror in the actual bedrooms only in the bathroom, although there was a huge mirror on the landing. The gardens & pool were amazing & this is where we spent most of our time. The bus service runs regularly and we visited both Omis & Split as well as booking an 4 island tour on our own speed boat - a must if you’re staying here! The tour was brilliant & the staff arranged our lunch in a beautiful restaurant with fabulous views. For our last night we had dinner up in the mountains in another great restaurant with more fabulous views. The food in all the places we ate was really good & reasonably priced considering there was 15 of us! It was lovely to have meals together. All in all we had an amazing holiday & Villa Amor was just perfect for us, Croatia is really beautiful & I’m sure we’ll be visiting again in the future

Extraordinary Beach House!
Villa Amor is simply fabulous and we loved it. We were a group of eleven people: grandparents, children and grandchildren (13 - 20 yrs), and the house could easily accommodate a few more. It is tastefully and appropriately furnished and everything was very clean and well functioning. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking, and we made good use of the outdoor BBQ stove. The house is only a few meters from the Adriatic Sea but the beach is not suitable for small kids. On the other hand, the beautiful pool was a real asset. The garden is well kept and very beautiful. We enjoyed late family dinners in the shade of the vines in the patio, since we did notified the restaurants in the neighbourhood great. We spent a lot of time at Villa Amor but also made trips to Split's old town, boat trips to the islands, and ziplining in Omis. We were only to sorry to leave and recommend Villa Amor wholeheartedly!

We were a party och 13 adults who chared this location. This house is really to recommend. It is beutifully placed close to the ocean and the pool is fantastic! All the rooms exept for one are facing the see. The house is very cleen and lots of space. Absolutly faboluse and we are deffinitly coming back.

Fantastic plays for big family
We really enjoyed the villa and the surrounding. The villa was top quality, inside and outside! We lacked nothing in the house and it was so beautifully decorated. The owner of the house was great and fast at answering least question. We can really recommend this accommodation!!!

Beautiful newly renovated Villa Amor!
After a long search, I could not have been so lucky to have come across the beautiful Villa Amor! Our family of 10 met at the Villa Amor for a week of a wonderful experience stay at the beautifully renovated Villa! The host Ivana could not have been more helpful and wonderful! Rooms with private showers, extremely clean, modern fixture were perfect for a carefree vacation! Everyone had their space! Kitchen fully equipped! Beautiful pool, patio, views of beach and the blue Adriatic! Adequate parking! Nearby restaurants and grocery stores were very welcome! A great spot to explore Split and nearby towns. Driver was helpful who took us to Dubrovnik for a day to explore the city as well the Games of Thrones movie site! Easier than taking 3 cars! Ivana made the diver arrangements! Most helpful driver!!! Easy catamaran trip to Hvar, to explore the Blue caves and island! Trogir, Zadar, Omis and many nearby cities from the great location of the Villa! Most memorable stay for families!
