«we had an amazing time at barcelo for a week. it was a great location if you want a bit of quiet, and good for sunsets!! i recommend bringing shampoo and conditioner though, as the shampoo isn’t the best and there is not conditioner in the suites. the room size was huge which we were pleasantly surprised by! lots of pool area, beach access and nice walks along the beach in both directions. i would stay there again!»

«The resort is beautiful, the service was outstanding, the FOOD and DRINKS were amazing, every meal was excellent. If you plan to stay at the resort all day the all inclusive is a must. My only complaint was the restrictions on how to use your resort credits, it was impossible to use, so call the resort and ask because Expedia doesn’t give you that information »

«The resort staff was great, very friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, there is a musty smell in some of the rooms. We got two rooms and one had a musty smell and the other didn't, once it aired out and we ran the A/C it was a lot better and didn't bother us. As for the shade over the pools until after 11am. I'm not sure why anyone would complain about that. It's so hot that the shade is a welcome relief when you first get it the pool in the morning, especially if you're already ...

«very clean, room is very comfortable and staff is very friendly and attentive. the shows lacked quality for this type of resort and its high prices. It is very confusing to navigate into what's included and what is not included in this "all inclusive" resort where every little upgrade for food item is extra (if you want your dinner with meat or seafood, be prepared to pay very high pricing. Not a great feeling after paying over 400 per night for the resort).»

«We had an amazing stay at Patio Azul! The pool and spa were awesome! Everything we wanted to do was a quick ride away from the hotel. The room(Agave) was awesome and the views were amazing! If you can get that room you will love waking up to the ocean everyday! The hotel is a quiet place perfect for relaxing! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Stay here if you can!»

«Logan and the entire staff at Villa Lola were incredibly warm and welcoming. Everyday breakfast felt like a family get together while allowing for individual autonomy. The rooftop pool is lovely and clean. The views are spectacular. Location is AMAZING. Highly recommend. 10/10»
