«Really liked this place. Wanted to get away for a few days so we rented this property because of the proximity to the lake. We decided to bring our boat down and thankfully the marina down the road allowed us easy access to the lake. Got some good fishing in. The house was clean and looked well taken care of. Nothing to complain about in the slightest. Just an a great trip overall!»

During our time at your home we attended the Texas Ren Fair in Todd Mission which was only about 40 minutes away. «House was beautiful. Loved the neighborhood and neighbors. Everyone was so friendly especially the owner. He was quick to reply anytime I had a question and was always professional. The house had everything we needed including towels, toiletries, detergent, and some pans/silverware. It was very clean and well kept. All bedrooms are on the first floor. Unless you want to take a break in the small loft upstairs, you won’t need to go up there (mentioning this in case anyone has disabilities). ...

«Property is just as described. The porch over the water is serene. Fish weren't biting, the area is slightly flooded, but a very relaxing getaway. The bed is comfortable. Everything you need for cooking is available, just bring your groceries and don't forget the coffee. The town of Jefferson is nearby with nice restaurants and plenty of antique shops.»

Before our arrival, Denise, the host was responsive to all my questions within an hour. There was plenty of room for for the 9 of us to spread out and the common areas were wonderful for us all to be together. We are saving this property and will definitely stay there again. «We had a ladies retreat from our church. The house was perfect for our group. Lots of room and the beds were comfortable! Absolutely the best communication with the owner. They were amazing throughout the whole process. We enjoyed s’mores around the fire pit. The home was a wonderful relaxing place to spend our time. Will be back again!!!»
