«If you are looking to see wildlife, this is your place! The layout of the property is wonderful. We explored the rocks just off the beach and found a tidal pool. Love that they compost and only replace towels every other day. Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!»

«This place is truly part of the jungle - we saw tons of bird and had monkeys, coatis and even a huge spider inside of the treehouse. We felt one with nature, while still living in a very clean and comfortable space. There were no mosquitos at night which was a pleasant surprise! «Casa verde is the perfect jungle house on the beach. Capuchin monkeys and scarlet macaws are your neighbors and you are immersed in the rainforest wildlife. Amazing coffee was provided. I would recommend this home to everyone except i don't want it to be booked up next time i visit! It takes about 30 minutes off the main road in a 4x4 but it is well worth the journey. «This was an amazing space for a week away with our kids and spouses, who all live in different cities. Tranquil space with lots of options for more excitement (e.g. surfing lessons), and a constant nature show of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Delicious food, and friendly staff who went the extra mile (one of our daughters twisted her knee on the first day and needed a few more rides than we'd planned on). Beach view is beautiful, but rocky-I would not swim.. & while hiking both directions from it we never found a path to a safe beach for swimming.Owner very responsive but it was sometimes hard to get a hold of the on-site manager; though he is very helpful & kind when we did; minimal English so you need to know Spanish or have ability to translate ...

«Generally positive experience. The house was not as isolated as we anticipated. In fact there was a fair amount of traffic on the rough road behind. Lots of bird life - especially macaws. And lots of monkeys. The beach is not really a swimming beach because of the rocky bottom, but Matapalo beach is only about a 25 minute walk away. We stayed three nights, which was enough. «Sehr schöner und sehr ruhig gelegener Ort am Ende der Zufahrtsstrasse. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Durch die offene Bauweise kommt man der Natur natürlich sehr nahe. Für uns war das ein sehr schönes Abenteuer. Wir konnten Papageien von der Terrasse aus beobachten und hatten sogar ein Tapir im Vorgarten gesehen. Das Baden im Meer ist problemlos auch für Kinder möglich. Kann ich sehr weiterempfehlen.»
