Nice house

Bachelor party trip- great having the multi floor hang area that was all within talking distance. A few minor issues / questions that were resolved immediately. Overall great spot and had everything needed in the kitchen

We loved this house, it was perfect. The house had plenty of room for 10 people, kitchen was well stocked. We loved the ease of the Deer Valley shuttle that would pick us up every day and drop us off at our doorstep. Cynthia was amazing with communication and always pimento responded to our messages. Highly recommend

Best value in PC

This property is an outstanding value for large groups like ours (10 adults) that don’t have an unlimited budget. The house has had several additions so it is somewhat segmented, but we liked that because it allowed for people to “get away” from the main space where people were hanging out (the kitchen/ dining room). While we did not have kids, this segmentation may also be very useful for giving the kids a place to hang out while the adults have adult time.The only odd bit is that the new Viking stove (very nice) sticks out and impedes the one dishwasher from opening completely. Not a huge deal. I am sure the owner will eventually shift the dishwasher to fix this.The owner, Cynthia, was fantastic. She responded quickly to all communications and was extremely helpful. As other commenters have pointed out, some of the stuff and decor is a bit dated, but that is why the price point is what it is. The owner could modernize everything and then it’d be way out of most “normal” folks’ price range. Instead she has chosen to selectively upgrade the most important bits (comfy beds, range, furniture),while keeping the other elements functional, but not super modern/swanky.The location is phenomenal. We didn’t ride Deer Valley because we have boarders in our group, but that would have been extremely convenient. We ended up using PC’s bus system more than we thought because it was just so reliable and convenient. The bus stop is 100 yards down the road and we never waited very long.

Affordable and expansive house close to slopes and perfect for large families and groups.

Cynthia made the check in process easy. We were a group of 4 families with a total of 9 kids ranging from 3 years to 18 years. There was tons of space to spread out. The bedrooms accommodated adults and there were enough beds for kids to each have their own bed in a separate space. The movie room, ping pong, and pool kept everyone entertained. There are two living spaces so we could spread out nicely. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need. Cynthia provides enough supplies so you don’t have to buy any staples. The hot tub and sauna were awesome. The master had an amazing steam shower. Cynthia has maintenance come by daily to shovel the deck and driveway and salt as well. Deer Valley is a quick turn down the road for drop off. We also dropped off at the town lift which was 5 minutes away. We went into downtown for lunch and were able to find parking on a busy holiday weekend. The bus stops were not far away but we chose to drive. The ideal guest will be okay with the house being on the older side with heating supplied by radiators and mini splits. There were ample blankets for everyone to find their ideal temperature. The garage accommodated two cars with enough space in the driveway for more. We really enjoyed our stay and Cynthia went out of the way to make our stay memorable.

Great family mountain retreat

We enjoyed our stay, it’s great for large families with kids. The kids loved the ping pong, pool and theater room. There were a few things that were not working correctly but Cynthia was easy to contact and got them repaired. I would give it 5 stars if there hadn’t been repair issues.

Winter Haven

We stayed here for a girls trip and it was perfect. Two beautiful living spaces. Lots of cozy rooms. Not to mention a quick drive to Main Street and to the base of Deer Valley mountain. Cynthia was a great host and very responsive/accommodating. Will definitely be staying here again !

Amazing home

This was a really special trip at a wonderful home. It has 3 large areas for groups to gather. We had all the young cousins together playing pool or in the movie theater while the adults gathered in the large and wonderful kitchen cooking, catching up, and gathered around the dining table. The two pianos in the house were played nearly constantly. The shape of the home is extremely fun which gave rise to some of the best hide and seek games ever played in our family. I had read that there were a lot of stairs in this home and that was true but I only noticed when we first unloaded our luggage and when we brought in groceries. I felt like the shape of the home was a real win because it gave the kids a bit of a different level to be on while the adults were gathering. It also made the bedrooms a little quieter. My parents didn’t want to endlessly climb stairs so they used the beautiful bedroom off the sun room minimizing their stair use to a 1/2 flight from the front door. Just know if you have stair-challenged family members that there is a full flight of stairs to get to the front door. Pleasant surprises included that the kitchen was very well stocked. We found a wide variety of pots and pans WITH lids and plenty of kitchen implements like whisks, spatulas, etc. we were really able to cook and frequently had 3-4 cooks in the kitchen at once which worked fine as it is well laid out. The hot tub was greatly enjoyed too! Overall we had a fabulous time at this home.

Great location

We've been visiting Deer Valley for 10+ years but waited until last minute to book our Spring Break trip this year. We stumbled upon this property and for the price decided to take a chance. Overall, the property has a great location with easy access to slopes and Main street but the décor was a little dated and the house had a choppy layout. The host was very responsive and made sure the driveway, stairs, and deck were cleared of snow. Unfortunately, not all of the TV (which were small in size) or outlets worked in the house and one shower remained cold. Due to being busy skiing we didn't take the time to message the host but are confident she would've been responsive to our needs. We'd recommend this property for budget conscious families who looking for a good location but are okay with outdated décor and carpets.

Wonderful Family Stay

Prime Location and Cozy Vibes

Property is located a few minutes from the Deer Valley drop off area at Snow Park. The house is perfect for multiple families due to the number of living areas across several floors. Kitchen is well equipped to prepare and serve food for large groups. Overall the house was perfect for our group and will rent again from Cynthia.
