«I rented this place for the pier, which I thought met all of my qualifications for a perfect fishing pier out into a bay. And it did! Over about a 48 hour period I caught between 30 and 40 speckled trout (about 1/3 on lures under lights, and the rest on live shrimp one afternoon). Unfortunately, they probably averaged about 13 inches, so they all went back in the water. Also maybe a dozen gafftops, about half of them legal. Lotsa fun.»

We took advantage of all the amenities provided at the house. Very clean and fully furnished. We had plenty of room for 3 trucks and our boat. Caught loads of fish in the bay too!»

The home is in a great location near the beach and close to enough to town for any last minute things we needed from Stanleys. There was so much thoughtfulness...everything from plenty of dishes and pots/pans to scissors in the drawer which we used numerous times. The nightlights were a great help so we didn't trip during the night. We appreciated the TV/cable. There were just so many thoughtful touches that it would take a book to write about...even soap and shampoo & conditioner in the ...

«This is a nice house with a large area under the house to grill and relax. Plenty of parking across from the house to park my truck and boat. The deck upstairs if nice and the house is nice. Right on the river and backs up to Snappers and close to Waynes bait camp. We will book this location again!»

My mother passed away on Monday morning and we decided to still go to Palacios and celebrate her. I will definitely be staying here again. The property was fully furnished.
