Great stay - great house and location - responsive property management

Great stay, even added a night to stay longer. The property management company was great and responsive when we wanted to add a night and to locate the key to the community pool. The house was clean, up to date, spacious and had a great location on the golf course. The only thing keeping this at 4 stars overall (it really would be a 4.5) was the pool did get a bit cloudy (without any bather load). I notified the property management company and the chlorinator had pucks added to it within 5-6 hours.

The perfect house!

My overall stay was wonderful! The house accommodated my friends and I well. All my guests said the rooms were perfect and comfortable. The neighborhood and area had everything we needed. Grocery store literally walking distance. The only thing that was annoying was the back door alarm. We got use to it after a couple hours. 10/10 I’d definitely recommend!

Nice option for October

Close yet far enough away from Disney. Back patio is serene for morning coffee. It backs up to the golf course. Cleaning could have been done a little better. The checklist left by the cleaners was clearly not completed. Beds were comfortable for a vacation rental. Plenty of amenities for the kitchen. We came shortly after Milton, we are sure it chaotic for the property management team. All in all would recommend to stay.

Great vacation spot!!

This vacation home had everything we needed and more! The biggest plus for us was the safety locks and alarm for the pool area! We did have a minor hiccup with the pool when we first arrived and because of a holiday it couldn’t be fixed right away but the property management team were easy to reach and communicated very well thru the process. The pictures shown are very accurate, lots of space for everyone. Beautiful spacious home made for a great family vacation. Would definitely go back!

Highland Reserve

House was in great position backing onto 12th green. However it was very tired and not very clean. We had to ask for pool decking to be jet washed because it was filthy.The pool filtration system stopped working at one point and we had to ask for it to be fixed. The marketing pictures show a picture of the community pool, but were told on arrival that this was not available! The communication by the local rental company was terrible. We will find another house next time!!

Disappointing

It’s difficult to put into words how disappointed we were with the cleanliness of the villa and the stench of cigarette smoke we were greeted with upon our arrival, having booked a ‘NON SMOKING’ villa. Whilst tastefully decorated, with a very nice location and view over the golf course, the villa looks very tired, in need of a thorough deep clean and regular checks of its ‘fit for purpose’. We don’t live in dust, grime, in-ground dirt and fixtures that clearly need replacing and we don’t expect to have to take our holidays in these conditions. We would not recommend this villa to anyone until such time these issues are addressed. Photos and further specific details of our findings are available if requested. Our complaints for some of the issues were addressed locally over the period of our stay but we should not have had to complain at all and these things should have been addressed before our stay.

Orlando Visit

Internals all very clean, property is well equipped and all rooms modern and fresh. Post Hurricane some damage to netting on pool, was fixed on our visit and pool needed another clean which was done when requested the next day.

Nice house. Issues with the pool.

The home itself is very nice and well maintained. However as per a previous review, we also had major problems with the pool. The pool filtration & circulation system was not working when we checked in, so the pool was unclean with a lot of debris in it. We reported it to the management company immediately and chased up many times. However after five days of waiting we still had an unusable pool and no projected date of when it would be fixed. Eventually we found another villa ourselves and checked out early. The management company did email us after 13 days to let us know the pool was now fixed (which was a bit odd as they knew we had already checked out long before). Their position throughout was that the pool didn’t need to be clean and we should just swim in it regardless.

Family holiday - updates needed

Unfortunately upon arrival at 10pm the code for entry didn’t work, had to call numerous numbers to get an entry code (sleeping children in the car and travelling from Scotland this was not the best start) this was resolved and had this been the only issue the review for the property would be much better. However after waking with excited children, we found the pool to be completely green! This had not been checked at all for our arrival, had to call again and wait on call backs to be told the pool maintenance would be there that day and they could not provide a time. This ruined the first day of our holiday, once cleaned after several hours we could use the pool, however almost a week later the same again the pool was going green - we was advised this was due to weather however neither neighbour had this issue. Around the pool area the grounds was not maintained at all, and weeds were in full view, there was information not to sit on loungers with wet clothing (completely understand this) but the loungers were filthy and one broken. The inside of the property was great, few things here and there needing fixed, which is to be expected from a rental property but the pool reoccurring issue was a nightmare and the constant calls to get resolved. Also the dryer had to be fixed as this was broken. I never usually leave reviews but feel the owner needs to be aware of these issues with their property. Kind Regards Kimberley
