«First of all: Thomatos Apartments Lourdas Beach has changed the name to Barefoot Contessa. We are definitely going back. Nice, clean and aery rooms with the perfect view to the Ionian Sea. This part of Lourdas Beach is calm and quiet, and perfect for morning bath before breakfast. We had a two room apartment, and the kitchen area is spacious, and with an extra bed.»

«We had a great stay here, the staff was so responsive and the house keeper was so sweet. The rooms always were super clean, it is in a great location right on the marina and walking distance to the beautiful town of Argostoli. The parking sometimes gave us trouble as it was a very busy time of year and the town is packed but as long as you get a parking spot before 8 and leave your car there for the night you should have no problems. Nothing bad to say about this place.»

The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. «SOLO TRAVELERS BEWARE! Booked a “Sea View” room months ago, I was shown to a room on a lower level with NO SEA VIEW. (See photo with tiny slice of sea circled in RED). When I politely pointed this problem out, I was informed “A larger group had booked the upper apartments, but I was welcome to sit in the garden”. «Panos and his wife wet were excellent hosts. They were very friendly and most helpful. The room was cleaned every day, had a small but adequate (for us) tv and a lovely, quiet air conditioning unit. A 5 minute walk or 10 minute stroll to the harbour and the tavernas. Located up a little bit of an incline but I managed it well enough even while carrying a weeks supply of water for 2 and I’m 68.»

«Maria was truly incredible. Nothing was an issue and I really appreciated her hospitality, especially as a young woman travelling on her own. I felt really safe. I had a late transfer following check out but Maria was more than happy for me to use the pool and bathroom while I waited following check out, which I really appreciated. The rooms are gorgeous and has great air conditioning. The breakfast in the morning that Maria prepared was delicious and the pool was always quiet. Perfect stay.»

«The accommodation was right on the picturesque harbour front and a 2 minute walk away from the port. We only stayed overnight as we were travelling on to Lefkada the following day but everything was perfect. Nice restful night's sleep after the journey from Yorkshire. The hosts provided excellent communication. We would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay for a longer stay. Thank you!»
