«This apartment was exactly as listed and by far the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. It is very cute - small, but cozy and exactly as pictured. The beds and couches were so comfortable. The only issue is with the neighbors across the street…which the VRBO owner has no control over, but as we arrived and were getting our luggage out of the car they let their 2 pit bulls out in the front yard. Ok for me but I could never bring my wife!
"Check in went quite smoothly. Courteous staff, but the room furniture (mainly sofa) was disgusting. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were all quite hard. The kitchen sink was not cleaned after the previous renter. Waited until the morning to say anything. Lots of "sorries" for the condition of the room and they did offer to move me to another room but I ended up washing the sink myself. Turned out the drain was plugged and needed to be repaired. The reason for things being so dirty is that roadwork workers have been staying there. The rooms are large with a kitchenette so they are perfect for a longer stay, but there should be rooms dedicated for normal people who don’t bring road construction filth into the room. It was ok this time because I was alone. I’ll be back in a few months but I don’t want my wife to have to deal with this. "
