DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I made a reservation with Expedia for this property. I chose the “pay at property” option for my reservation. On the day of check in I arrived around 7pm. The man at the front desk told me my reservation had been cancelled. I checked my Expedia app and my reservation was active. So I asked why was it cancelled. He then proceeds to lie and say that they ran my credit card ahead of time and the card declined so the reservation was cancelled. This was false. I told him my card was active but if I chose pay at check in option why would you run my credit card ahead of time?? I had to call Expedia and they were showing my reservation active
I asked the man at the front desk, let’s say that what he’s saying is true, that my card declined. Why was I not sent a notification of cancellation?
He very rudely said that I don’t need to tell him how to do his job and that I’m expedias problem
Basically because I checked in late he gave away my room is what happened and instead of apologizing and being empathetic he lied and left me with no room for the night and left me for Expedia to deal with me
I proceeded to tell him that he was being rude to me and this wasn’t my fault and he needs better customer service skills for the way he’s treated me and then he tells me there’s no hope for me
What a rude non empathetic way to treat a customer. I will never stay here again
