First and foremost, this is one of just a few units within the Northshore Village that are directly on the sand/ocean. Truly we've never stayed this close (like less than 50 feet) from the ocean's edge. Which not only makes for a beautiful view, but amazing sound of the ocean waves crashing against the shore. And it's super convenient getting to the beach and back.
It's also nice that the master bedroom is also oceanfront so you can open the window and hear the ocean waves all night long. And the living room has a deck that overlooks the ocean, perfect for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Even the dining area has a lovely view of the ocean and the sound of the waves in the background.
Northshore Village is a fantastic complex with many amenities (although some are closed and others restricted due to COVID-19 rules) and the location in Oceanside is great if you want to walk to good restaurants, walk on the beach, go to the pier, rent bikes, etc.
The unit is older, and appears to have been only partially renovated (living room), so kitchen is older with tile countertops and older wooden cabinets. I noticed that most of the other units in that area had been updated with granite countertops, nice floors, etc.
I mention it not so much as a complaint but just to set expectations that it is older and not as nicely finished as some of the other units, if that's important to you. Truly all of that is overshadowed by how amazing the location is right on the ocean. and how wonderful the complex is.
