«Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff and opportunities for both swimming in the sea or relaxing by the pool. Plenty of other activities as well. Food was decent, if not extravagant, and the rooms tidy and spacious. PS: The boat trip can get bumpy, as we experienced on our way back to Cartagena! »

«Nice place to be away from everything and relax. Very nice staff, and very good food. But we were never bitten by mosquitos or something else so much, bring plenty of mosquito repellent»

«We were honored to be the first guests after Isla Azul’s reopening under new management. The hotel manager Pedro is exceptionally friendly and customer-focused. He and his team were a highlight of our stay. He coordinated awe-inspiring snorkeling and phytoplankton tours with an experienced local guide. The restaurant chef whipped up delicious local favorites, made to order, and the piña coladas were nice and cold! The hotel was still in the process of renovating during our stay, so I expect that ...

«First of all they never find my reservation. There was no pickup there was no communication after 3 days they never replied . Then they give the excuse at the Domain was stolen and they wanted to charge me again. But the staff is excellent that's one good thing.»

«After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night. At the hotel, overnight guests have no ...

«A recommendation would be to open up the eating área on the first floor so you have a good view to the beach while raring. Would also recommend to improve the mattresses on the sunbed. Some selection of coco water, one liter bóttels and snack also recommended. The boat service to the hotel should also be included in the price. A little over priced hotel also.»

«My partner and I had very high expectations for this 5-star hotel, but unfortunately, our stay did not live up to our expectations. It is an incredibly beautiful place with lovely surroundings and beautiful treetop bungalows, but it is very overpriced, and the service is not good. While some of the staff members were super friendly and helpful, we had far too many negative experiences. The hotel is large, and the communication between different services and staff members was lacking. For ...
