I couldn’t recommend it, and I wouldn’t do it again.
We stay approximately 40–60 nights in hotels each year, and this stay was far below par.
The staff showed no empathy and came across as arrogant. Overall, the level of service was poor. There was very little attentiveness, and the waiting times were long for everything — absolutely everything. Because of this experience, we couldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
Spending time by the pool was problematic, as the music was so loud it felt more like a nightclub than a hotel. The music could also be heard from the rooms at all hours of the day and night. Bring earplugs.
My girlfriend was drugged at the pool bar, most likely with GHB or Rohypnol, and had to be taken directly to the hospital. Following this extremely serious incident, we experienced no empathy, care, or sense of responsibility from the hotel staff. They claimed to have reviewed CCTV footage, questioned staff, and tested the bottles, but we were simply told that everything was “fine.” The reception staff did not appear shocked when the incident was reported.
Naturally, we wouldn’t stay here again.
