Oceanfront condo - Direct beach access with pool - Amazing Views - Windjammer

This oceanfront condo is a great getaway in the exclusive Windjammer complex at the west end of Ocean Isle Beach.

Hear the sounds of the waves breaking on the shore with the sliding door open while you enjoy the beautiful oceanfront view.

Master bedroom has a king bed with bath; second bedroom has two full beds with bathroom and TV. Queen sleeper sofa in living room (bring your own linens if you plan to use). Fully equipped kitchen, private balcony with table and seating for 6 plus space at kitchen island for 4. Living room has flat screen TV with WiFi and cable. There is also an elevator for our complex. Bed linens are included in the rental. We provide a bath towel set (bath towel, hand towel and washcloth) for 4 guests. If you need additional please let us know at time of booking and we can provide them for $10 per additional set. We also provide kitchen towel and washcloth. Please bring your own beach towels, and toiletries.

You will never have to go further than the condo for a great time; enjoy swimming in the pool (pool is closed during off season) or within steps be on the beautiful sandy beach and ocean. Our condo is located directly on the ocean/beach with a private walkway access to the ocean and outdoor showers. A few short steps away on the beach is the Isle Restaurant for lunch or dinner.

The island offers a variety of activities including miniature golf, fishing at the pier, arcade, shopping, boating, fishing charters, nighttime crabbing, biking and all kinds of beach activities.

During the summer months enjoy FREE concerts on Friday night and on Sunday enjoy church on the beach.

Ocean Isle has 20 golf courses within 8 miles. Myrtle Beach is 45 minutes and Wilmington 30 minutes away for more golf, shopping and fun. A 10 minute drive to Calabash or Shallotte offers many great restaurants. Near by rentals for kayaks, jet skis and bicycles on the island.

Communal pool is typically open from April - October. This is subject to change based on local/state/HOA proclamations/orders and is not guaranteed.

Please note that OIB has a noise ordinance between 10:00 PM and 7:30 AM. Violators will be fined $1,200.

This vacation was by far one of our favorites. The communication with owners was top-notch. Condo was perfect. The location could not be better. It is exactly what we needed for a week of relaxing. Will definitely be back. If you are questioning staying here....don't, just do it. You will not be sorry. Thank you guys for everything. We are very sad to be leaving and heading north to cold weather. Enjoy the picture of dolphins viewed from the deck just a few hours prior to us leaving.

Slice of Paradise

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and well appointed. The kitchen had a wide variety of utensils, cookware, and glassware. We loved the balcony and the view. We sat many afternoons and evenings on the balcony reading or watching the local wildlife. We saw fox, deer (including a baby fawn) and crabs on the dunes. We also saw dolphins. The beds were sufficient, though we brought our own pillows. Finding a good pillow is very subjective and it’s easier just to bring our own. We did bring extra towels and we bought damp rid while there. It was very musty when we arrived and the damp rid helped. I don’t consider that the owners fault, it’s common at ocean front properties. We used the pool a lot in the evenings or at night. It was too warm during the day and lacked any shade. Again, that’s all preference as the pool was often busy during the day. We were also very grateful for the addition of beach chairs. Thank you for allowing us to use them. We didn’t end up using the umbrellas but we did use one of the chairs. Our only complaint was the noise coming from the upstairs neighbors. We could hear them walking all day and late at night. Again, it isn’t the owners fault. We’ve rented many condos at different beaches and this was the first time we all said it felt like home. We would definitely return. Thank you for letting us rent your condo

We did not have a good experience staying here. The room was not very clean. The shower liners had mold on them and one main reason we chose to stay here is because of the rooms and the pull out couch and we couldn’t even use the pull out couch because it had MOLD on the mattress!! It was bad! I will never stay here again because we also found a dead bed bug in the master bedroom!! Dead or not I ain’t staying or sleeping with bed bugs. We didn’t have a good experience here.

Pictures & description were accurate. We enjoyed everything the condo offered, including the beautiful oceanfront view. Even though it is on the first floor you still get an unobstructed view across the dunes outwards as well as north & south. Appreciated the flooring choice as we could quickly & easily sweep every day to keep sand to a minimum. A/C worked well so you’ll be comfortable no matter what. Furniture was in good shape. Appliances were clean & plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, plates, etc. Only gripe we had was noise. Our first night around 11pm while asleep, the condo to the right had a family come back that were obnoxiously loud. Kids running, yelling and rough housing in their unit. The parents were loud enough to be heard clearly. The upstairs unit’s tenants walking would cause a creaking sound. Not end of the world but noteworthy. Plenty of parking in the open lot although we were able to use the parking under the building our whole trip. It’s all first come, first served but there were no issues. The under building storage locker with beach chairs (4) & umbrella was great to have access to. We were also able to store the kids beach toys & umbrella we brought along in there, too. We did have issues with the mechanical lock on this door but one of the maintenance guys was able to lubricate it & it worked flawlessly the rest of the week. This was no doubt due to the salty air & Buddy kept in touch on this minor thing quickly. Would rent again!!

We enjoyed our stay with you. Everything was clean and ready for us, and apart from two can openers which do not work and need replacement, everything worked fine. Great view of the beach, close to elevator (which unfortunately was broken when we moved in) and parking. Love this beach!

A nicely located oceanfront condo

We love Ocean Isle Beach and the ocean views from this Windjammer unit. It's on the very nice west end of OIB and on the first floor. Two bedrooms/two baths were good for our family.

The room was perfect for our group of 4. Very little noise from other surrounding rooms and room was clean. The pool was kept clean, grills were cleaned each day and in good condition for use. The shower/rinse station at the end of deck was very useful. Great view from the room and a great stay.

This condo is in a great location and is a good size for four adults. Owners were very responsive to messages and easy to interact with. That said, there are a few things that weren’t great. If I were the owners I would get a new cleaning company. When we arrived the cleaners had been there (we only know because we passed them on the stairs) but the old linens from previous renter were shoved in a closet and the floors definitely hadn’t been swept. The new linens and towels were left outside and the beds had no sheets on them so we had to make them, which was fine but was not previously communicated or stated in the property listing, so just be prepared for that. Also, all of the electrical outlets are loose. We couldn’t get anything to stay plugged in. Overall it was a nice place to spend our vacation. I don’t believe any of the issues are really the owners fault because they aren’t the ones cleaning between renters but the cleaners are definitely mediocre.

Amazing View From Balcony!!

The property was lovely. However: They do not make the beds and you have to do that after you arrive. The sheets are wrapped in plastic and none are provided for the couch hide a bed. In our case no towels were provided for either bathroom. We arrived around 11 pm exhausted, so not ideal. We purchased towels from Walmart and a duffel to take them home in. The owner offered to reimburse us, but we could not find the receipt. We spent many lovely hours sitting in the shade of the balcony and looking out as pelicans danced in the air. We were disappointed that no beach gear was available with the rental. Purchasing it was a waste, and we should have rented from one of the surf shops, but didn’t know that was an option until it was too late. $55 for flimsiest beach chair in any store. I planned this trip to recuperate from gallbladder surgery. Better than lying around at home! Would have been nice to open the door to made-up beds and to have known ahead of time about weekly rentals for Shabumis and beach chairs, or better yet, have them included in the pretty price! Oh, and don’t forget to take toilet paper and paper towels with you. Those are not provided either, nor are salt and pepper, etc. I should have read the fine print.
