It felt safe, the resorts are like in a private subdivision. Dining options was okay, disappointed for not getting into the steak house. The main buffet area was good. Taxi to the airport was reliable. I had a nice 5 day vacation which was plenty.

Toda la comida estaba muy fea, sin sabor. Las bebidas muy similar, sin sabor o no bien preparadas. La habitación apartada era doble (dos camas matrimoniales), nos dieron que lo tenían espacio y que nos darían una con sofá cama. Después de mucha discusión se nos dio una cama habitación una cama king size y una cama individual portátil, por lo que la habitación quedó muy incómoda. Los shows también muy feos (karaoke y show de Michael Jackson) que no atraían a la gente. Hemos visitado RIU Península Cancun y es otro servicio. En definitiva a este no regresaría.

I would (and now have) highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit Puerto Vallarta. The RIU Vallarta has everything one could want to experience on site and an app that keeps you up to date on daily activities, restaurant menu and entertainment. The staff is hospitable and remember your name.

Overall my stay was good, however after 2nd night I had a peeping Tom looking over my balcony. I went to front desk to report it and was not happy that I had to wait until business hours to speak with someone at desk the guy at desk could not help me just to at least change my room. However later when speaking with guest service she was able to change my room and I expressed I did not feel safe with person next to me actually standing on something looking over at my balcony middle of night. Also after switching rooms mysterious I had two very expensive pair of glasses disappeared from my new room. I had not been able to contact resort directly as of yet

My husband and I recently spent an unforgettable vacation at the a RIU Vallarta All-Inclusive Resort, and it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, with every detail meticulously taken care of to ensure our stay was flawless.The buffet was a feast for the senses with its vast array of fresh and flavorful options. We appreciated the all-inclusive feature, which allowed us to indulge without any worries.The service was impeccable throughout our stay. El personal en los restaurantes excelente servicio muy amables y serviciales, pero los de seguridad en las albercas fue muy desagradable, nos llamaron la atención por comer alrededor de la alberca y lo entiendo, es de sentido común, lo que fue muy chistoso es que cerca de nosotros estaban unos estadounidenses comiendo hamburguesas dentro de la alberca y a ellos los dejaron estar ahí tirando la comida en la alberca mientras comían y no les dijeron nada, y yo lo veo como racismo, o sea que ellos pueden hacer todo hasta fumar en áreas indebidas son decirles nada, jamás volveré a visitar ese hotel, y yo no porque no me hayan dejado hacer lo mismo, sino por el trato tan evidente que experimenté.

Great for Spanish or English speakers. Lots of dining options, 4 pools, lots of bars, bunch of restaurants enough to try something different every night up to 5 nights! Beach had tons of things to do and felt very safe. There were events scheduled throughout the day every day. Would definitely recommend!

The receptionist we had was named Alma. She had a burn or scar above her lip and she was so rude. No smile throughout the entire interaction. My fiancé and I misplaced our towel card and she made us feel horrible for it. This was the first time I have ever been treated this way by a hotel staff. It left such a bad taste in our mouthes and discourages us to visit Vallarta again because of her poor customer service. The towels were old and run down. Red flag that they were not white. The rooms were so noisy and it was very hard to sleep at night. The food was the worst part of this trip. Nothing tasted appetizing. By far the worst food experience I’ve had in Mexico and I ve been to so many resorts. Definitely never coming back to this place.

Many many aspects. From the age of the property to charges for just about everything m, lack of good food and watered down drinks, even beer. Just a very low rating for an all inclusive property. Very good for those who have never stayed in an all inclusive. But for those who have experienced it, this was sad.

I loved this property! Very clean resort with a nice beach and plenty of food choices and activities. I missed the foam party but made it to the neon party that was next door at the Jalisco.. family friendly and lots of fun for all ages. My only complaint is the noise. The walls are paper thin. There were people that stayed up until 5 am two nights in a row… running around, shouting and yelling.

The staff in all areas is great in guest service.the one thing we weren’t satisfied with was, the entertainment.thus is our second visit to this resort , the first time was last year in April. I noticed that the entertainment staff was a smaller group.you had new faces ,but missing some of your most talented people. I understand that people come and go in this industry for different reasons.however it should always be to excel. I am not trying to take anything away from the the entertainers they do work very hard , but I do feel like there’s something missing and too much karaoke.one night there was an interruption of a show due to “technical difficulties “ but never brought it back,they went to karaoke instead. I will continue to be a guest at your resorts but I just wanted to let you know how I feel.

Esta es mi primera vez en Riu Vallarta. La verdad quedé impresionada por el buen servicio que ofrecen. Los meseros son muy amables. Pudimos comer en todos los restaurantes sin ningún problema. Solo que para el Steak House restaurante tienes que estar antes de que abran porque ese si se llena. La playa está limpia y tranquila. Hay bastantes sillas alrededor de las albercas y en la playa.

La mayoría del personal en las áreas de alimentos tuvo buena actitud, sin embargo en algunos momentos en ciertas áreas muy específicas ojalá el personal fuera más amable y servicial, ya que en ocasiones fue grosero con los clientes o comensales; Ojalá que los restaurantes de especialidades se manejaran por reservaciones vía su App, en 2 ocasiones llegaba y me comentaron que ya no había lugar por que estaban ya FULL ese día aunque aún eran las 7:00 pm; otro día fui más temprano a hacer fila 5:00 y tuve que entrar en ese momento a "cenar"; si manejaran los restaurantes por reserva ya uno podría llegar a la hora agendada y previamente programarse.
