«The buildings and surrounding parking lot appear to be condemned and abandoned on first sight (at least one of the buildings actually is condemned and boarded up w/posted notices all over it). The staff if there is one is simply unavailable and unresponsive. The elevator in the building my room was in on the 3rd floor does not work ( I can personally confirm that it hasn't worked for at least 1 year). The room itself could have actually been nice if anyone gave minimal attention to repairs ...

«i'd like to recognize Lawrence at the breakfast time. Although we did not partake of any of the food because we had our own, he was very accommodating, personable, and very welcoming. The biggest sushi we had there is the first room we were given was not made up so they sent us to another one which was fine… And then 4:30 in the morning the telephone went off with a message, which was not able to attain. When I went to the front desk and asked about it, she said… Oh yeah all of the messages go ...

«This hotel is Conveniently located across the street from Kings Dominion. We drove 3 1/2 hours to go to amusement park and after a long day needed to rest. We drove literally out of the park lot across street to this hotel. The indoor pool added for extra fun for kids. Pool open til11pm and check out at 12 so that helped a lot to. The hotel is clean and served a good breakfast. The beds aren’t the best but everything is clean!»

«The property, parking & rooms are beautiful. However…my daughter and I both had the worst sleep of our life here. It was so extremely uncomfortable (bed & pillows) we were up for 2 nights. Also, we got scammed upon checkin. Our reservation was cancelled and we were never called about the card we used on file. The staff member said “oh we cancelled alot of reservations this morning. But don’t worry we’ll just rebook it for you. Someone should’ve called you”. No one called, the price was double ...

«The hotel had just the perfect balance of no-frills with practical and comfortable features. The breakfast and coffee were A+. Definitely will look for other Avid Hotels.»

«The room was warm despite the air conditioning being set at 65 It just blew air not cold air Breakfast was not great compared to other lower cost hotels. We will not stay there again Staff was congenial Room was clean»
