«1st, we had to climb (literally) 40 steps to get to the apartment (from the back enterance). We're almost 80 years old and it was quite difficult! Definitely not for anyone with even minor disabities. Parking was horrible! No parking on the street or you'll get a ticket at 4am, and we were told the town is VERY strict about it. We had to park in back on a grass knoll. Next, ALL of the pictures of the rooms indicated that there was a kitchen. There was NO kitchen! The ONLY sink we had ...

«We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was the perfect mix of privacy and convenience; peaceful and quiet, yet still close enough to easily access Southwest Harbor and the quieter side of the island. The harbor views were beautiful and made the setting feel really special. We also loved the additional cabin, which was updated so nicely and was a great extra space. It was a wonderful place to come back to after exploring the island, and we would definitely recommend it to others!»

«The home was nice and cozy. It met all our needs, had a well stocked kitchen, linens and laundry. The rooms and bedding were setup nice and clean. Each room has a portable AC so we had to turn that on once we arrived to let the place cool down and air circulate. The location was about 25 minutes drive from Bar Harbor and usually 20-25 minutes away from our daily activities, but it worked out for us just fine.»

«What a beautiful property both inside and outside! Very spacious with plenty of room. Great getaway especially for a family with children. Pool was gorgeous and a really big hit for our family. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park close by only approximately 20 minutes so great place to stay and visit all the great places for sightseeing and visiting beautiful Acadia National Park. We would definitely stay again in the future!»

«We had a great stay here! It was quiet, clean, and private, while still being convenient to Acadia National Park. We loved staying on the western side of the island. The host, Becky, was fantastic. She made us feel welcome and went the extra mile when our late arrival meant we got there after the grocery and convenience stores closed. «We really enjoyed this rental home. The location was great for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park as it was about 10 minutes to Acadia entrance and around 18 minutes to Bar Harbor. You felt like you were in country but still very close to everything.
