«Not very hacienda style design. Poor food, nothing to do beside being at the pool or in the standard pool. Beach ok to look at, but can't really use it or swim in the sea. Could be anywhere, far from anything resembling the real Costa Rica. Offering extremely expensive transportation to airport, added another 165 usd to the bill for a 45 min drive in the early morning in a worn out Toyota Lancruiser. But beautiful view to the Pacific. And reception did change my room to one with actual sea view ...

«Hôtel très agréable et personnel souriant et aux petits soins. Joli cadre grâce à la végétation et une piscine très agréable. Petit bémol sur l'état de propreté de la salle de bains qui pourrait être amélioré, le mobilier est vieillissant et la climatisation de la chambre très bruyante. Il faut marcher le long d'une route très fréquentée et sans trottoir pour les piétons pour se rendre sur les plages. »

«The location was nice, in a gated community. We loved the pool with the slides and the bar. The home was comfortable for our family. We had some issues with check in but luckily it was resolved so confirm the details before arrival.»

«The property is large and about 50 minutes from the airport in the middle of nowhere. The food options are great!! Reservations are not required for the restaurants but you have to get there at least 15 minutes before they open if you want to get a table. The selection of food at the buffet and the different restaurant are excellent. The people and service are are also excellent. The only con to this property is the beach. It is not very clean and we witnessed one of the souvenir vendors deal ...

«I had a nice stay at occidental however I feel the resort should update the lighting on the resort. At nite it’s pretty dark. And they need to have make sure your rooms are stocked with wash clothes. I went several days begging for wash clothes. I had to use the hand towels to bathe. And thank god one of my friends from the trip gave me one because she had multiple. And they also need to have options to eat after 10pm. »
