«We loved this classic farmhouse, including the charming quirks that come with a 100+ year old house. Creaking wide pine floors and original kitchen cupboards might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it made us so very comfortable; like being at your great-grandparent’s. «Our stay was a little short, but overall we enjoyed our stay. We where visited by wild turkeys 🦃 and large black ants 🐜 in the kitchen area. Early summer pest. We will love to revisit the location in the fall. And their lake location»

«Overall amazing stay at this property, very clean and comfortable. About 20-25 minutes away from Sunday River and perfect for a ski weekend. A few minor things we ran into on our stay is that there are plates and bowls for 8, so had to run the dishwasher frequently or hand wash to use plates at both breakfast and dinner. «This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.»

«If you are looking to enjoy some quality time with friends/family, this place is excellent! We stayed for a weekend bachelor/bachelorette party with 14 people. Beautiful views, near trails (check out the falls near by), plenty of things to do while there, even for those who don’t ski! We played pong, pool, karaoked, enjoyed the hot tub even spent some time near the fire. All in all a great place to book!»
