«Main reason for the 4 stars is the non-functioning Mini-Split style Air-Conditioning units. The host/property management had installed two window A/C units, so we give them credit for that and that there was A/C in the unit. «We were so happy with the property, the perfect getaway with our pup. The back deck was great for an evening glass of wine and we were surprised to see two pairs of swans gliding along the lake our first night there. «DO NOT STAY HERE. I would rather sleep on the street than stay here again. First off, the staff member you text to check in was rude, unhelpful, and most importantly stole my $300 deposit. The instructions says that you have to provide the staff with a copy of your government ID to check in. It is not until after you book that it is sprung on you that you must also send them a $300-$500 deposit (depending on if you're from Illinois) in order to enter the building.
