«The location was great as we were travelling to Algonquin park. The cabin was fine, looks like it was recently updated. Seemed fairly clean, except the fan in the bathroom was laden with dust. The couch was very uncomfortable and the beds were adequate. We were looking forward to using the hot tub but it was not in working order. They had lots of watercraft that was included and a barbecue. The sauna I think was working but not on when I went to use it. The owners were friendly and helpful.»

«Die Lage ist super, um in den Algonquin Park zu kommen. Auch der See und die Umgebung sind toll. Abgelegen, ruhig, grün und sehr entschleunigend. Auch der kostenfreie Verleih von Kanus und co ist toll. Leider ist die Kommunikation mit dem Personal vor Ort schwierig, da sie nie aufzufinden sind und auf sms nur sporadisch reagieren. «Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable ...
