«The hotel is huge, easy to get lost. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Rooms are large and were clean. Bed was soft and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub due to the hot tub being full when we walked to it but it looked nice. I am guessing they are doing some construction on the pool area since it looks under construction. Parking was easy. It was quiet. Definitely would go back. »

«This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. »

The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!»
