«We loved staying here! When we arrived we were greeted with a bald eagle flying over the lake, and on our last morning saw 40-something loons. The kiddos loved playing outside and the short walk to the library (great kids' activities there!) and restaurants, etc. My celiac daughter loved the pizza at Fife Lake Inn. We stayed here to be close to the NCT and look forward to staying here again in warmer weather so we can fully enjoy all it has to offer!!»

Check in was easy, but no personal communication from owners. Only automated messages. Unit could have been cleaner. There was sand on the floor and some laundry in the dryer which was strange. «The property was exactly as described. The view of the bay was beautiful. If you go in the summer and hope to swim, you’ll have to drive to a sandy beach. This is on a marshy stretch. «The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Pros: Clean, good location, basic small room. Cons: small travel size pillows instead of “real” pillows, only 1 washcloth for two people, room was VERY hot the first night. We turned off the heat and opened windows but it didn’t really cool down until the next day. Really the cons are easily fixable as this property appears to be a work in progress.»
