«Our stay at Totem Lodge was great, very clean and nice up north decor, check in was easy. Restaurants close by as well as Cross in the Woods, very peaceful and quiet reflecting time in the woods.»

«The host was extremely difficult to contact. The contact information was incorrect. The Mayson Room BW Boutique Hotel is not a hotel, but rather a vintage home with rooms. The rooms are filled with very old in some cases broken down furniture. This “hotel” was a shared space with other guests, meaning we shared a living room, and kitchen; the kitchen was nicely organized. The power to the TV and WiFi was turned off at 9:17 pm. The house and room smelled like an old wet basement.»

«Great location if you are wanting to travel around Northern Michigan. Cute town with a convenient grocery store, Mammoth Distillery Lounge and great little pizza place. Check in was easy, but no personal communication from owners. Only automated messages. Unit could have been cleaner. There was sand on the floor and some laundry in the dryer which was strange. Unit did not have as many beds as advertised so I’m glad we didn’t need more. AC unit was incredibly loud and not very efficient. Had to ...
