«The space is perfect for two adults and our dog. The space was clean, quiet, and close to Shasta Dam. Nice outdoor seating area and even had a fenced in yard for our pup. I’d recommend it!»

«This wasn’t what we expected as it was located in a campground with campers, tents, and cottages. There was constant traffic with workers on side by sides which kicked up a lot of dust and made sitting outside difficult. The cottage was run down and the bed was the worst we’ve ever slept in. If we went back to the area, we would stay somewhere else.»

«This was a wonderful place to stay. We had check in info sent ahead of time and were able to just drive up to our cabin and go on in. We had an electrical issue with the television and the host fixed it immediately and was extremely helpful. Just know WiFi is very limited, don’t expect to stream tv shows, but they also have a HUGE library of movies available. Would definitely stay here again!»

Check-in was a breeze with the keypad, and Minnie kept us well-informed of the scheduled garbage, lawn, and pest control services. «We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter ...

«If it weren’t for the kindness of the host, who accommodated us for an early check-in and late checkout, I would’ve given this zero stars. It’s totally rundown, looks like it hasn’t been power washed in 20 years, as soon as you walk up it smells like mold. The listing doesn’t tell you that it’s on a main street. The inside has rotting walls with actual holes, you can smell the mold and in one of the bedrooms it smelled so toxic like cat urine and chemicals - no one could sleep in there. The ...

«We stayed here 15 years ago , same bedspreads and no new updates . We love it for its cozy feeling , and love the peacefulness of staying in Calistoga. We walked across the street for an awesome dinner at Sam’s Social club , walked down the street to shop and cruise around this quaint town . «Amazing property and an amazing host! We were here for an extended stay and they were very accommodating and helpful. The property had some renovations happening and the host contacted us in advance to let us know and share complete transparency. The apartment clean, cute and efficient. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed daily walks to visit the animals. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet and the outdoors.»
