«We arrived at 2:00PM and were told the room was not ready. We had to wait 4 hours, until 6:00PM until we were given a room key. Upon arriving in the room, which was dated, and showed obvious wear and tear, we attempted to take showers. The room had no hot water. Towel hanger was broken off the wall, overall old and worn. We asked to be moved to a different room, and the next day we did. The second room had a major electrical issue. No electricity the entire night. No Air Conditioning. Absolutely ...

«Not very hacienda style design. Poor food, nothing to do beside being at the pool or in the standard pool. Beach ok to look at, but can't really use it or swim in the sea. Could be anywhere, far from anything resembling the real Costa Rica. Offering extremely expensive transportation to airport, added another 165 usd to the bill for a 45 min drive in the early morning in a worn out Toyota Lancruiser. But beautiful view to the Pacific. And reception did change my room to one with actual sea view ...
