«We were in San Juan del Sur for our daughter’s wedding. Casa Serena ticked all the boxes for us. Lots of space for family aged 1 to 71. Fantastic outdoor areas (we spent most of our free time outside at the pool area). Lovely sunset views. Easy walk along the beach to town. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Lovely housekeeper Lisbeth and her family. I will say that some of the outdoor furniture and the fridge are a bit tired, and toiletries provided were minimal, but in no way did this ...

«Incredible stay at Christine’s home in Masachapa! The pool and outdoor areas are amazing. The sunset views were incredible. We got massages on site and took an ATV tour along the beach and to a waterfall. Dolores cooked for us 3 days, lunch and dinner, and those were the best meals - so delicious. We did 2 day trips to Ometepe Island and to Masaya Volcano. Glad we did it but lots of driving for short visits. Can’t wait to visit again!»

«The listing is accurate, and the home is really quite nice. There was a little private dip pool at the house which was a nice surprise.The community of Pelican Eyes was once a great community -- and then the management went bankrupt, so parts of it feel abandoned (the restaurants are closed, paths are unpaved, etc.) That said, there seems to be new management investing back in the community such that in a year or two, I'd expect it to be back in action (they've already beautifully redone two ...
