Newquay is famed for its water sports and surfing in particular. There is much to see and do here, from cliff top walks with breathtaking vistas to a vast array of amenities, including an all-weather aquarium and zoo. Venture further afield and take the scenic route along the heritage coast to discover Padstow, with its excellent, celebrity chef-inspired restaurants, galleries, boutique shops, narrow streets and buzzing quayside. Port Isaac, ‘home’ to the ‘Doc Martin’ TV series, is enchanting and inland the town of Wadebridge awaits, where you can hire a bike and follow the fabulous Camel Trail to Padstow or south-east to Bodmin, with its wild and mysterious moor, spectacular views and woodland just waiting to be explored.
