«The rooms are ok, but the food is a bit inconsistent for our our stay. The breakfast was fine but the service was slow due to lack of staff. (20 mins for some gluten free toast) The British obsession with dogs such that they welcome them into the hotel is somewhat puzzling as food is being served in the bar yet dogs are being feed by the owners from the table! The hotel has an odour of dog which really should not be there. No dogs should be around any place that is serving food!!! However the ...

«Very pleasant one night stay, we arrived on a very warm sunny day. We got to our room and found the window open and an electric fan, so we had a cool and very comfortable night. Parking was free and very easy and reception was welcoming. Our only grip would be that you have to go next door, to the services to source your breakfast.»

Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away.»
