«The Yurt was scenic, peaceful, and picturesque with everything we needed. A Blue Heron visited us daily, as did the ducks on the pond outside the Yurt. Complete with warmth for the cold nights and all the equipment to store and prepare food, we were able to see some local attractions and go back and forth to and from the Yurt conveniently. Brett and Alicia were wonderful hosts, giving us our privacy but always available. We did some fishing and hiking and visited the Natural Stone Bridge in ...

«This home is a history lesson. Built more than 100 years ago, you see hand-hewn beams supporting the second floor, floors made up of varying-width boards, rooms large enough for their intended purpose without empty space. We were both intrigued and overwhelmed by the vast differences in home building then and now. That era saw families and neighbors coming together to fill a need. «The room was very clean. The bathroom is teeny, but was also clean. We spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the TV to work, only to find out that the cable box needed to be rebooted. Also, we contacted the host directly - once via text and once via phone and he didn't get back to us either time. Lastly, when we booked this room we had no idea it was actually a motel room. We were in a building with multiple single rooms and it was very loud during the night with people coming in ...
