Ideally located for food, football and shopping
This was our fourth stay at the Indigo, and we are already looking forward to our next stay (in May). The hotel si located very close to the Quayside (for restaurants and bars), St. James' Park (for football) and Eldon Square (for shopping). The hotel restaurant (Marco Pierre White) is also very good. The bar in the reception area is a bit noisy however, and the staff at the bar wasn't the most service minded people we have met. On two separate occasions, when requesting a raspberry cider we were told that they did not have this in the bar. When we pointed out that we could see several bottles of raspberry ciders in the fridge, we were told (in a nott oo friendly manner9 that this wasn't a raspberry cider, but a raspberry and mango cider.

Nærhet til Newcastle
Hotell Indigo gir deg nærhet til de beste opplevelsene i Newcastle. Det er kort vei til shopping, fotball på St. James Park, museer og The Tyne som renner gjennom byen. Hotellet gir deg ekstra service når de møter deg til frokost og rommet ditt er rent og pent når du kommer hjem til hotellet på ettermiddagen.

Great hotel in the city center
Been staying in more or less all hotels in city centre during the years but this was the first time at this hotel. First impression was good, check in was done quickly and rooms was normal size double room (but not small) with an small but more than big enough bathroom. Always positive with no caroet on the floor, and in general the hotel seemed new and "up to date" which is important. Wifi was good and breakfest was very good.

Nice and close by hotel
Had a nice stay there. They greeted us good, told us nicely of the services to could offer, restaurant booking/shopping/newspaper and that sort. The room it self was big enough so that it didn't give you a cramped feeling. It's located in the middle of the city centre, easy enough to get to by car and other transportation. The view from the room want the best though, right into a back alley. But it's in the centre of town so it didn't really bother us. Would choose this place again.

Hotellet var helt ok,men måtte stadig spyle ned sluken i dusjen pga.kloakkstank.Frokosten var dyr(kr.850)for 3 frokoster(for 2),men mat må man ha.

Nice and comfortable
Great location right in the heart of Newcastle, close to most places you could visit. Friendly staff and always at you service. Very good and tasteful breakfast (except for the pancakes). Just one little detail spoiled it all: housekeeping. Our room was hardly cleaned or vacuumed, we had to ask for toiletries (often forgot that we actually needed shampoo/showergel, and not only hair conditioner!).

Would have preferred buffet breakfast and more dining options. Tea but no coffee provided in the room Room temperature adjustment very good and adequate sockets and usb outlets along with mini fridge.

I think the carpet on the 3rd floor landing had literally just been laid,as was still carpet fluff on it.Smelt lovely.Room was immaculate,lots of little nice touches xx

Given the limited breakfast facilties they made a really good job of it. However having the cleaners enter our room twice whilst there was annoying. Dealt with locally by the management swiftly tho

After paying received 6 emails stating there was no bar, kitchen, restaurant, and breakfast would be served in the foyer and eaten elsewhere. Room 334. Ancient bed divan even older mattress, dirty floor with hair, fluff and cotton buds. Loo seat wrong size and shape. We complained after two almost sleepless nights a received a twin bed room. Better bed better sleep. Parking was £14 per 24 hours.

One night stay with my daughter
I cannot fault the hotel . You wouldn’t have know there were renovations going on apart from the breakfast but it was fabulous . Huge choice of cold and hot food and drinks with little bags to take up to your room and there were comfy seats in the room anyway so we sat and watched TV at the same time . Comfy bed and v friendly staff

Unfortunately was put into a disabled room which felt very barn like and space. The bed was very hard but with a dip in the middle, so fairly uncomfortable. The hotel was dated ( but under improvement). The staff were very pleasant.

This hotel is a perfect location for exploring Newcastle. Car park is a little small but there are many alternatives. Breakfast seamed expensive, so we popped to pub nearby. The Hotel itself was clean and perfect for the one night stay.

The Colleagues Shine!
This is my favourite hotel to stay at in Newcastle when I travel for business. I've been here multiple times over the past year and I have always found the rooms to be of a high standard, the food fantastic and the colleagues 1st class across all aspects of the hotel's operation. A highlight for me is always breakfast service - I cannot fault them. The team always remember me and make me feel so welcome every time I stay, such an important aspect of hospitality that they truely nail every time! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the city (car park on site is an added bonus!).
