«Fantastisk bygning i finne omgivelser men dessverre en ganske trist opplevelse! En del slitasje generelt! Unngå å spise i restauranten. Veldig dyrt for ekstremt lite mat! Jeg kommer ikke til å anbefale dette sted til andre.»

«Bra parkering og god service i hyggelige omgivelser »

«Too cold. Extremely noisy with music, yelling, running and knocking on doors till 2 am. »

«Et fint hotell med hyggelige ansatte. Rommet var fint og rent, men badet var litt lite. Koselig uteområde med servering om kvelden. Litt lang avstand til sentrum, slik at taxi ble mye brukt. Alt i alt fornøyd med oppholdet på the Scholar.»

«The restaurant next door was lovely for a quick bite. The room and hotel were great and a good location for our needs. The staff was excellent. The only thing we found that could have been better was our shower head was leaking sideways and was impossible to keep it from creating a tiny river on the bathroom floor. «Hadde tre netter her, reiste i sammen med mine to voksne gutter i anledning 50 års dagen min. Synes hotellet var helt ok etter pris. Store flotte rom,bra renhold. Flinke og imøtekommende i resepsjonen. Eneste minuset var frokosten, den var dårlig. Lite utvalg, slettes ikke verdt prisen. Så vi spiste heller frokost i centrum de andre dagene.»

«Helt fantastisk hotell! »

«Flott hotell, god beliggenhet og god frokost.»

«The staff at the Abbey are excellent, by far the best part about the stay. Very friendly with each encounter and extremely accommodating. We had several bags with us, and they made our check-in and check-out much easier by going out of their way to support. The room itself is satisfactory; it is about what you pay for. Nothing too extraordinary, but more than sufficient for what we needed it for. Although the bathroom wasn’t terribly well maintained, and the shower didn’t drain very well. ...

«We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean And beds comfy. The view from our room of Arthur’s seat was an exciting addition to our stay. There are good places to eat in walking distance. City bus stops are close and easy to plan . Note there is no elevator.»

«A nice place to stay! Have never stayed in such a place before, so it was a interesting experience. Everyone working there was super nice.»
