This 3 bed/2 bath home will ensure a cozy stay and is a short drive to the French Quarter. This private home sleeps 6 guests and offers everything you need to stay comfortably and live like a local. The apartment blends modern art and extremely comfortable furniture. Minutes away from local coffee shops, bars, boutiques, and public transit--you have unbeatable access to the lively city of New Orleans.

The Space:

Your home quarters share a huge backyard terrace with the neighboring units. Just 5 minutes east of Oretha Castle Haley Blvd and 10 minutes from the French Quarter you have easy access to all nearby attractions.



The home is fully furnished and decorated with curated antiques and art, along with top of the line equipment and modern luxuries.



Your plush down comforters and memory foam pillows will ensure a good night’s sleep, leaving you rejuvenated and ready to explore all what New Orleans has to offer.



Primp and pamper before the day with our complementary bath products and hair dryers. Fresh linens and toiletries are provided for each guest.



With high speed internet and 2 smart LCD TVs, everyone can share their adventures, catch up on work, and binge watch all at once.

The guests will enjoy the entire place exclusively for themselves. Keyless entry with backdoor access.



The Neighborhood:

This historic neighborhood is where several famous jazz musicians got their start as well as being the birthplace of monumental moments in civil rights history such as where Martin Luther King Jr.’s Southern Christian Leadership conference was founded.

The main strip, Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, offers many unpretentious shops and restaurants to pop in and out of. Major nearby attractions include Martin Luther King Jr. statue, the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, Ashe Cultural Arts Center and live music at the New Orleans Jazz Market.



Getting Around:

The closest bus stop is a short walk to Loyola at Seventh Street.

Taxis and ride shares such as Uber and Lyft, also operate heavily in the area.

For those traveling by car parking in front of the house is readily available.

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is just a 20 minute drive.



Other Things to Note:

Terrific for family gatherings, or to come and visit NOLA for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, etc.

It was my first time in New Orleans and I only got to spend one night. This was the perfect spot. A quick Uber ride from EVERYTHING. The place was very comfortable and looks exactly like the pictures.

We had a great stay! The home was not too far away from all the festivities we had planned. The house was very cozy and clean. We had a group of 6 adults and we all fit perfectly! I would recommend this place to the next guest.

No issues. The people upstairs were a little loud later in the night but we were up. The 2 beds are advertised as doubles but they are twin size. Still works for us but just for reference. Comfortable for 5 people overnight.

We had some difficulties/delays communicating via VRBO. No fault of the host. The door code provided in the check-in email didn’t work. Apparently the property manager has changed the code & hadn’t notified the host. Thankfully, we were able to get the new code without too much trouble. The actual couch at the property was different from the one pictured & was quite worn with a tear in the fabric & a spring that was visibly pushing against the fabric. We also had some problems with electricity going out in the first bathroom, which took a few days to get resolved. On the plus side, the property is very centrally located with lots of amenities nearby and very easily able to get to places we wanted to go. The beds are extremely comfortable with lots of pillows.

The picture on the listing shows two additional chairs, they were not in the unit. The only seating was the love seat which had two holes in the fabric and the frame was broken and four kitchen chairs that were not very conducive to hanging out and watching TV or playing games. Not shown are many area rugs which can make walking through the unit difficult. Kept tripping on the one in the kitchen so we moved it during our stay. The listing says curated antiques; that is questionable. Could not see any smoke alarms. the "luxury spa" amenities are actually little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash the hotels give out; and there were only three of each for the three of us for five nights. Had to empty dishwasher before we had dishes and cups available. There was garbage in the kitchen garbage pail upon our arrival. There was garbage on the front grass area. The fact that it is a very noisy street is not considered in this review; host had no control over that but it should be mentioned in the ad. The good news is the host was very responsive to questions before we booked. We sent him pictures of the holes in the love seat, but never heard from him.

When we checked in, there was no toilet paper, dishwasher had dishes in it, coffee maker had grounds in it,the kitchen table was sticky and several places. About half of the towels were dirty or stained, not sure which.The unit had been updated but is a shotgun style with no privacy in the bedrooms. Neighbors were extremely noisy Into the Night, and this is on a very busy street so we had sirens also throughout the night. The couch is completely worn out with no support and needs to be thrown out, back to where it appears to have come from.Checked in at 3:30 and advised host of the problems and did not hear back from them until 8:30 which was too late to do anything about it that night. At that point we had gone back out and bought toilet paperhad cleaned up the problems, and sorted through the towels. They offered to come in the morning which we didn't need at that point. Host offered to refund the cleaning fee, but never did. They even said they had new rugs to install and ask if they could come in and do it during our stay, which we denied.Would not stay here again, and would not recommend it to anyone else. In addition the washer and dryer is on the back porch, is shared by the other units, and being outside was dirty and covered with dust etc.

My teenage kids and I took a quick trip to NOLA. This condo offered a well-located place to crash once we finished our shopping and sightseeing around town. It had an easy check-in process and comfortable accommodations.

Noisy and sketchy street. No back cushions on the sofa which was the only seating in living room. Several lights didn’t work. Neighbor “borrowed” two lawn chairs we brought. The two chairs in the back patio were broken. No seating provided on front porch. The house was a remodeled shotgun house which means you have go through two bedrooms to get to the back bedroom. This was not explained in the promo description. Bed covers were stained which was icky

My son and i stayed here. It was fine and I'm glad i supposedly got a discount. It wasnt as clean as it could've been. I cleaned better than the cleaning people with spills, stains on counter and cabinets and unclean showers. The toilets and sinks were clean. Wifi was terrible. I had to use my hotspot for a virtual meeting. There was no washer and dryer, as listed. And the power went out two days during my 3night stay. When i messaged the property owner, i got no response. Location is on a main road and convenient to my son's school, which is why we stayed here. I've stayed a few blocks away and had no problems in the neighborhood. I know new orleans, so it was fine, even if it looks sketch. There was parking in front of the building. I'd stay here again, only if it was really cheap and i didnt plan on being there much. God spot to lay your head, after you clean it.

The location was 10 to 15 mins from everything. The home was clean. I didn't have a problem with parking. The host was very responsive. I extended my stay and the host accommodated my extended stay. I will definitely stay here next time I am in New Orleans.

New Orleans Getaway

I took my 2 17 year old granddaughters on New Orleans vacation to site see, eat good food and take a couple of hands on cooking classes. We were very happy with the condo. It was very clean. Everyone had their own bedroom. It was shot gun style and we loved it. All but one night we had easy parking in front of condo. It was a easy commute to downtown New Orleans by car.

Shotgun style house/condo

Overall was a positive experience. The supplies were actually not enough for a group of six. There was also not enough seating in the living room. The two black chairs in the picture did not exist. Beds were very comfortable.

Great Mardi Gras Home Base

Lovely Shotgun house

The house was very quaint, cute and clean. We didn’t realize it was a shotgun house so it was very interesting moving room to room but it was a fun experience for me and my friends. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again! Thank you M&M!
