«Thought place was impressively clean. Had all the comforts one would want or expect. Living room was very comfortable. The woodwork made the home very inviting. Big driveway was good. 5 minute ride to subway station was important as well. Was very fortunate to meet the owner(Mark) as we pulled into the driveway. He gave a quick rundown of a few items including some restaurants ideas. It was very clear to me that the owner has spent a lot of time and money on making it a great place to stay.»

«We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. The stairs were a bit scary, but with the light on, you'll be fine. :) Cozy spot for the three of us, well appointed and in a fantastic area. Very walkable, even down to the wharf. We are from a very non-walkable area, so it was amazing to see all the activity and places we could go just walking a bit. We enjoyed our first time in Maine, and can't wait to get back for a longer trip. Thanks to the hosts!»

«This was a great spot for a weekend away! The unit is well equipped with higher end finishes and furnishings which makes the u it well worth visiting. The roof deck was a lovely addition as well! We left on Sunday so was happy to be able to move the car close to the unit Saturday evening to make packing a breeze.»

«We really enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to walk to the Eastern Promenade. The beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Very cute and cozy There are stairs to enter the building for anyone with mobility issues. If you are unfamiliar with older buildings, the radiators do make some noise while heating in the winter.»

«Cute place near the southern part of the Cliff Walk. It is a mile or so from the wharf and restaurants & we did lots of walking, but if you aren't up for lots of walking, then you need a car, or can do lyft. The kitchen has everything you need for coffee, or to cook/reheat food. The bedroom and bath are up stairs, which was fine with us. «WOW! What an adorable 2 bedroom with everything you could possibly need! Very clean with a great ambiance! Check-in was a breeze upon arrival. Comes with a parking spot! A great location with so many good coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and a walkable distance down to the pier and shopping. Megan and Jason were so easy to work with and terrific welcoming hosts! «Ryan's house/apartment was perfectly located for us in terms of proximity to the Old Port area of Portland AND a large park to walk our dog in. I am recovering from major surgery and low demand exercise was critical to that recovery. Ryan's house filled all our needs. One consideration. The apartment (spacious - just as described) is on the second floor so climbing one flight of stairs is required to access the living space.»

«Great location! So close to public transportation. Property very clean. Note: stairs are very steep for any renter with mobility issues. I could not find a blow dryer (usually available in other properties we have rented). Also could use a few more pillows for those of us that like to use 2 pillows to sleep.»

However, after we got settled in, the downstairs portion of the house we were in was very clean and well furnished for us. We really enjoyed it, and the location for Salem was fantastic.
