«The pet friendly service is greatly appreciated. Overall it was a nice place very easy to find. Unfortunately the sofa lounge in our room smelled strongly of cat urine. The internet does not exist in the rooms you can hook up outside but then as soon as you go in the room- no service!»

«Mackay is not the center of the world, and the city has clearly suffered after Covid with a lot of store closures etc. It also doesn’t have the big tourist streams as larger Australian cities have. Seeing the selection of hotels, we chose to stay at the Ocean International as it is situated beautifully at the beach with a wonderful garden. Given that the hotel is quite affordable, we did expected that the hotel would be somewhat in need of renovation and that we were not to expect a premium ...

«Appreciated Wheelchair accessible room. would have liked a bedside light for night safety. Good meal available at nearby at bowls club. Breakfast basic but very convenient before starting journey. would stay here again»

«Helt nyoppusset hotell. Renslig og fint!»

«They put us in the wrong room. We paid for a larger room but only in the morning did the receptionist advise us of her mistake. The room was comfortable and clean but I did slice my finger quite deeply on a broken tile around where a new shower head was installed. It was like a razor and needs to be fixed. We should also get a refund of the difference between the room I booked and the standard roomI received. It is quiet, bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning works well.»

«Helt ok for en natts overnatting.»
