The main issue started when we arrived at the condo to check in. When we walked in you could instantly tell the property had not been cleaned at all since the last guest stayed. (Dirty counters, all bed sheets piled up, all towels dirty in the tub, hair in the bathroom sink). I attempted to contact the host and got what appeared to be an answering service. They told me they could have someone out in the morning to clean the property which obviously isn’t an acceptable answer considering we had just drove 12 hours and had no where else to stay for the evening. They called back about 20 minutes later and said the property manager was on their way to clean the property and it would be ready in about 2 hours. As I appreciated the prompt response to fix the problem. It put a huge hold on our first evening in Nashville since we couldn’t freshen up or change before going out. By the time the property was actually ready all the restaurants were closed including the one we had a reservation at. Their compensation was an optional late checkout for the inconvenience which didn’t help any considering the 12 hour drive ahead. I continued to attempt contact with the host throughout the trip and even after but got a different person on the phone each time and was told they needed to speak to their “team” for a solution. I have yet to get a response on any sort of compensation or reimbursement for the major inconvenience. As nice as the property was AFTER the mishap. I would not recommend.
