Lakefront home with sunset views

Forget your worries in our spacious and modern space. This beautifully done lakefront home is conveniently located on a quiet cove on Old Hickory Lake and only 30 miles from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville. Enjoy an evening cocktail on the covered deck while watching the sunset over the lake or spend time with the whole family in the huge rec room downstairs! Have a boat? The boat ramp is only 2 minutes away by car! Our home is fully equipped for a relaxing and fun lake trip!
The space:
The house is located on a flat, lakefront lot that backs up to a quiet cove on Old Hickory Lake. Perfect for fishing! There are neighbors to one side and a wooded lot on the other side. There is a large U-shaped driveway in front of the house to accommodate all your guests and a straight driveway on the side perfect for parking a boat and trailer! The covered porch offers sunset views and the opportunity to watch the wildlife around you. Going inside, the main floor has 3 bedrooms (2 king rooms and 1 bunk room). You’ll also find a sitting room, family room with large tv, dining room, kitchen and the laundry room on the main floor. There are 2 full baths and a half bath all on the main floor as well. The downstairs has another very spacious king bedroom that has a smaller room with a daybed off the side (perfect for a family). The large rec room is downstairs with a sofa large enough to fit the whole crew and another large tv. There is also a functional wood burning fireplace on each floor to keep it cozy in the colder months!
Guest access:
Guests will have access to the whole house as well as the front and back yard. You will not have access to a dock. The docks that can be seen from the backyard are private property and belong to our neighbors. These are not to be used by our guests.

Our home was built in the 60s- that comes with a lot of charm and a few inconveniences :)
Here are a few important details
- the house is on a septic tank that cannot tolerate anything other than toilet paper. Please please please do not flush anything other than toilet paper - including feminine products, wipes, paper towels, etc.
- there (unfortunately) is not a garbage disposal, so any food will need to go directly into the trash can to avoid issues with the kitchen sink.
- the covered porch is a little old and outdated :) We have made it as comfortable and aesthetic as possible, but it still needs some TLC. We have worked so hard to keep the inside of the house updated and looking beautiful, and the old little porch is next on the list! Hopefully, if you can visit us again next summer, it’ll be new and way more functional!
