«It was pouring with rain when we arrived, so we really appreciated having the carport and entry cover, so we didn’t get soaked hauling our luggage in. Great for a 1nt stay on our way from Wellington to the Coromandel. Because of the weather the Coromandel didn’t happen, but that’s a whole other story! »

«It is very cosy and suitable for two adults or a small family (but not toddlers). Terrific shower. Wood Burner is very useful and lovely to have. Host has very kindly left wood, kindling and Firestarters. Microwave oven turntable doesn't turn (its the type that is mean to). Upstairs mezzanine was popular with our 10 and 12 year old boys, but would benefit from a deeper clean. Cleanliness of the rest of the place was very satisfactory. We will stay again.»
