«We LOVED our stay in that motel. Little bungalows a bit away from town, but not very far (5 min drive), nested in nature. Easy parking right in the front of your unit. Spacious (we had two bedrooms and 3 beds). Chairs in front of your unit, trail in the back that goes right into the park. Smores at night, DIY trail mix in front of the dining room 3 times a week. Free binoculars, hiking poles, soft sided coolers to borrow. Good breakfast. We ended up getting food to go and eating dinner in the ...

«We were told ahead of time and when we checked in that we had a harbor view.
We were on the first floor and were staring at the pool. You could kinda sorta see the water.
A small thing, but it was a chore to use the AC outlets and there were no USB outlets (if I remember correctly).»

«This is our go to spot for our annual Bar Harbor trip for about 8 years now. It’s a toss up between the main building (more expensive but lovely rooms and very nice breakfast) and the motel (more Spartan and no breakfast but less expensive and still comfortable) every year, but we are happy with either - just depends on availability and my wallet. «Room was clean, fridge and microwave, bed comfortable, quiet motel- it’s set back from the road and sheltered by trees. Picnic tables and sitting areas scattered in the shade of the trees. The pool was lovely. Some of the areas around the motel could use a sprucing up, but for the price- we thought it was great.»
