«I hate to write negative things, this inn has many things going for it. The mattress in room 6, however, badly needs to be replaced. You sink in about six inches when you sit and the springs squeak and groan every time you move. There is only one accessible grounded outlet by the door. Other outlets are concealed behind furniture. «Beautiful! Clean!. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The breakfast was very good. Staff was very kind and friendly.»

«We had to use a door lock code to enter the room. We were given the code by calling the number on a sign. We loved the outdoor fire pit and grills. The motel was very simple but had everything we needed. There was a back area where we could walk the dogs. The room was clean and the area quiet.»

«I only wanted a soft bed and a hot shower after camping for 3 nights in Acadia; this motel (it's NOT a hotel) offered that. Very basic small room, clean with A/C, but I loved the grounds; very pretty, and way back off Rt. 3, the main highway on Mt. Desert Island. It is NOT an "ocean view" however; on the north side of the island there is only a very pretty far-away view of "the narrows" connecting Frenchman Bay on the east and Blue Hill Bay on the west.
